I recently attended 160 Driving Academy, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. The teachers, Maggy and Joe, are absolutely amazing. If you want to pass, these two are the ones who will get you there. They are incredibly nice and supportive, making sure that no matter your skill set from day one, they will ensure you pass. Additionally, Kelsey in the office is fantastic. She is always there to clear up any questions or concerns you might have. Overall, it's a great place to learn and get your truck driving career started!

I recently attended 160 driving academy from January 28 to March 7 prior to that I never had any experience driving a tractor trailer or driving a manual. I will say the instructors are very knowledgeable and supportive to anyone with little to no experience and they care about their students growth. Overall it was a great experience.

Joe was the best instructor anybody could ask for. He is very thorough and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students and their success. Kelsey did an amazing job in the office and was always on top of everything that had to happen to make this process so smooth. Thanks to Joe I passed my class a, one and done. Joe did a great job teaching me in the yard and was super easy to get along with. He made me laugh along the way and helped me pass first try. Great instructor overall. Kelsey did a great job in the office and handled the classroom flawlessly. School was great, highly recommended.

I attended 160 Driving Academy on my own time & on my own dime. I was stuck between choosing 160 or affordable CDL. I decided to visit both before committing to either one. When I visited affordable CDL I witnessed 15 students in the yard sharing one truck. I walked up to one of the students and asked how he liked the school. He complained to me how he shows up sometimes for hours on end & doesn’t even get to drive or practice his pre trip inspection. I asked another student & they said the same thing. I visited 160 driving academy the next day, when I showed up there was 3 or 4 students in the yard, 3 instructors & multiple trucks. I was greeted by Joe. (the yard boss) He introduced himself & pointed me in the direction I needed to go. I walked inside & was instantly greeted by Kelsey. That day I chose 160 driving academy. I was thoroughly impressed with how structured & planned out the entire process of me getting my class A was. Kelsey handled pretty much everything paperwork/DOT wise & all I had to do was show up & put the time/effort in. Joe is a great instructor, taught me a lot of pointers that I will hold with me forever when I’m behind the wheel. If you’re reading this, do not hesitate to enroll in 160 driving academy.
Joe & Kelsey both deserve a bonus/pay increase!

Between Kelsey doing an amazing job in the office and Joe in the yard teaching me how to drive, i would recommend 160 driving academy to anyone who wants to get their commercial drivers license. Went to upgrade my cdl B to an A. And they work with you from start to finish getting your permit to your license. I recommend the Waterford location if you want to get in some good on the road hours. Joe is efficient and friendly, makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel.💗
