Mrs. Firtell is an excellent tutor. She works at my son's pace and she makes sure he understands how he got the answer to the math problem. She has been a blessing during this pandemic when it is so hard to find someone willing to tutor. We were able to tutor by phone and text/use the computer to facilitate the session.

We used Ms. Firtell for both of our Daughters, ages 8 and 10, regarding math and science; and again a few years later for Algebra and earth sciences. Found her to be very professional, connected well with the girls; and encouraged both of them to develop problem solving skills. Ms. Firtell has a keen ability to nurture a child's appetite to master a subject and instills a desire to achieve more. Definitely worth your consideration.

My son started using the tutoring in 8th grade when he was having problems with Geometry. He started improving immediately and received an A in his final grade.
