I have been working out and wrestling here for over 4 years, and when I first came to practice under Coach McGuire I had just finished my freshmen season as a wrestler. During the season my record was 1-11, after one summer of wrestling with Coach McGuire my sophomore season I went 35-15 and placed 4th at the state tournament. He is a great coach and explains wrestling in an easily digestible manner. His facilities are the nicest in the area, and his prices are impossible to beat. It is the best bang for your buck for training in the entire state. His mats are very high quality and are kept sanitary. The gym has plenty to do with a game room, hot tub, and air conditioned training room upstairs. The weights are kept neat and accessible with a wide variety of machines which are kept in order. This is the best Weightlifting/Training gym in the area, and Coach McGuire’s guidance helped me to become the first state champion in my schools history. He is also a major reason I will be continuing my education and Wrestling at the college level.

I, Dalen Baldwin, am very thankful for this place. Being a wrestler, being intrigued by mma, & the passion for weightlifting. I have found this gym conquers the thirst for all three interest. I am fortunate for both Doug McGuire & Tony Kidder for helping those achieve their desired fitness goals here. I am a true testimony for those who struggle finding a home away from home. This place is connected to two major highways, right down the street from a gas station and dollar general. The location is convenient and is 10 minutes from downtown Malvern. The pedigree of success at this gym is uncanny. Their are a small group of 30 + members that are on the rise to a larger number! This gym is capable of hosting movie nights, cookouts, wrestling/mma tournaments, etc. I would say the ARKANSAS CENTER for SPORTS SCIENCE TRAINING is the Swiss Army knife of all gyms!

Coach McGuire is an amazing wrestling coach. He pours his heart and soul into what he does. If not for him and his facility I never would’ve made it to Nationals. Having access to professional coaching, wrestling mats, weights, and cardio equipment at such a reasonable price allowed me to become a college wrestler. I will always be grateful for what he has done for me.

Crate training easily broke down for understanding. They cover a large age group. Are the instructors make you feel welcomed and really teach you

GREAT GYM! Almost never crowded, and a great place to learn self defense, wrestling, MMA. Equipment is great for an upcoming gym. Wishing they had a wrestling ring though.

Great place to train, let it be MMA, Wrestling, weight training or an event for your child. SAWA is the place to be!
