Sugarloaf fine arts camp is even more than just an arts camp. I have learned many things from sugarloaf. You can really just be yourself and you’re authentic you. Everyone there is very supportive and silly. It’s life changing really. Every single thing is just magical. From the traditions to camp songs and all the councilors, staff and campers that make you feel welcome. Even the small traditions and things everyone knows brings us all together. You make friends so quickly there and even friends that you e known for a week can become life long friends. There are so many words to explain sugar loaf. It’s really an amazing place. Keep spreading you sugarloaf spirit!

This camp changes lives. It encourages students to find and express themselves authentically. They are expected to be challenged individually, artistically, and socially. There is a reason that campers stay and become counselors, or teachers, or board members. This is a safe place to be yourself and grow. For me, it has also given me a piece of home though I now live very far away. I know I will always have a place to call home with people who know and care about me - beautiful people to whom I offer the same. I will remember you, think of you and pray for you. When another day is through, I'll still be friends with you.
