I've had a great experience at Bobby Tariq Tutoring Center. I am currently going into 8th grade and studying for the SHSAT. The entire team here is very friendly and specifically Mr. Sakib will make sure you know the material and keeps you disciplined. When I joined, just about two months ago, I had a 412 on my first mock test, as of now I am scoring in the low 500s in only a matter of 2 months. Mr. Sakib's effective strategies helped me find answers quicker and fully understand each question. My score has significantly improved in the raw sections, both in math and ela with high score jumps. While Mr. Sakib may seem strict, he will be sure to keep you disciplined and is very patient with all the students. It may seem hard at first, but you will be pleased at the end with big improvements. I definitely recommend going here if you are interested in going to a specialized high school. I look forward to more classes at this tutoring center.

My name is Priongshu and I go this Bobby Tariq branch I’ve been going since early 6th grade for the state test it has always had amazing service, but now I have Sakib for the SHSAT; I wasn’t improving much when school was in session but since the summer course started I have started improving. Sakib is definitely strict but knows how to make class fun ,sometimes at least, and he always helps me try my best. We do quizzes and tests very often to help us and he does in depth review. My grades fluctuate very often, sometimes I do really well and sometimes bad too. All I think that matters is that I’m improving and I definitely recommend the SHSAT summer course. (If Sakib sees this sorry for the grammar mistakes in this review ?)

I have been at Bobby Tariq's Tutoring Center (Jamaica Branch) for almost a year now and have seen many great improvements. My skills before I started being tutored by Sakib were pretty weak. Sakib helped me improve in the topics I need help with including ELA and grammar. I am taking the current SHSAT course, which includes math, ELA and grammar. At first, I was pretty weak in grammar and ELA, but as Sakib thoroughly taught me how to answer each question, I felt more confident and gained lots of knowledge. He goes through all the questions making sure each and everyone of the students understands it for the upcoming tests. The more I study the materials Sakib gives me, the higher I get on mock tests. At first I wouldn't study, thinking the course would be easy, but as time passed, I realized studying is the key to success. I started to improve more and more once I used the study guides and materials given by Sakib. With Sakib's help, I have a feeling I'm going to Ace the SHSAT and get into my dream school. Overall, Bobby Tariq's Tutoring Center (no matter what branch you go to) is an amazing and helpful tutoring center that will improve your skills beyond your limit. Sakib, Bobby and Tariq push you to your limits, making you achieve higher than you might expect. As Sakib says to boost our confidence before every mock test, "BEAST YOUR LIMITS!!".

I'm a student at Bobby Tariq's SHSAT course. This is my first time going to a tutorial home and it is actually nice! At first, I thought this place was going to ruin my summer because I have to study during my summer break but it came out to be quite the opposite. I got in here because some of my cousins went to Bobby Tariq 4-5 years ago and they got into a specialized hs. I feel like if I joined Bobby Tariq earlier, I would've improved a lot because I learn things gradually and learn things right away. Sakib, the teacher for the course, is a great teacher. He reviews the tests we take and goes over it until errybody gets it and fully understands the answer. I hope over the coming months, i can improve and get into a specialized high school. If not, I want to improve my knowledge about ELA and Math. Sakib knows a lot of stuff and you have to study his notes when he gives his lectures out which is the key to improving. Overall, I like this place.

At my time at Bobby Tariq Center at the Jamaica Branch it has been really helpful. I recently joined in the Summer Course for the SHSAT, and Sakib has helped me improve and learn lots of new topics. My math and ELA scores increased a lot and I’ve improved 70 points ever since joining.

Bobby-Tariq Tutoring Center is simply amazing. I have been attending their SHSAT classes for a few months as of Aug 14, 2024 and so far the experience is incredible. Everyday at Bobby-Tariq we learn something new and improve our reading comprehension and math test taking skills. There are lots of others like me who have come here in hopes of getting smarter and learning what you need to enter a top ranked high school in NYC. Getting to spend hours with people who have the same goals and interests as me is awesome because I get to compete with people who are on my level of intelligence or even smarter, which inspires me to try even harder to learn. Everyone at Bobby-Tariq is kind and extremely helpful, I have not yet had a bad experience with any staff or even student because they are all very kind. What I love most about Bobby-Tariq is that the teachers and staff are very honest and don’t sugarcoat your learning experience, they will tell you exactly what you are doing wrong, how to improve and they will give you expectations based on what they know you can achieve. Overall Bobby-Tariq tutoring center is a amazing place for students who dream of taking their learning experience to the next level and get into a top school in the state of new work and I can confirm as a attendee that it is 100% worth it.
