I had the pleasure of visiting this campus when my wife had to take a state exam. Enjoyed the remarkable layout and how clean the campus was and the friendly staff. The corrections academy was easy to find and has ample parking. You can sense there is a history from the reddened bricks to the lined portables and not even begin to imagine how many have passed through this place on their way to dedicate their time and service to the State as Correctional officers.

5 stars out of loyalty, but more like 4. Some things can be improved there but nevertheless they'll make a fine correctional officer out of you. They would offer you the means to step into a new career which may determine your life. I just finished Academy and I know about 4% of the total number of people applying for the job will ever make it to the academy. We started 27 in my company and lost 3 along the way. Hardest thing I ever did in my life but I hope it's worth.

If you are going to start your Co academy, don't freak out.1st and 2nd day would b long for you.give you equipment and infos.(10 hours a day for the first week) and then you will be fine.you have any question ask me.

Attended corrections academy here a few years ago. Overall pretty good. Needs to be updated on classroom space from the ‘mods’
