Does not provide receipts like non-profits are supposed to and lies about fees. Director ordered me to provide my child’s birth certificate to him personally. I have never ever experienced this in all my years going to the club as a child/teen or having my child go to other east county locations. I have submitted concern to the state and will be contacting the boys and girls club regarding this behavior. Very concerning.

If i could give 0 stars i would. The director Michael has no care for your children and should not work in child care or I'm sorry a "recreational facility that provides childcare". My son got a concussion under their supervision and i received no phone call or incident report from them. My son displayed the signs and i had to ask if there was an incident where he hit his head. During the call he showed no remorse and couldn’t even tell me the exact day of the event. the only time he apologized was when i told him i would be taking him to the doctor to check if he had a concussion then continued to tell me it might not be a good idea to bring him back if he did because it gets "pretty loud in the club." My son did in fact have a concussion but she couldn't tell me how severe because of the lack of information provided to me of the incident. No to mention for pick up and drop of don't even bother parking in the pick up spaces in the red zone. you will get hounded about not getting out of your car or they will get ticketed. then when you continue to park your car your child will be waiting by their self no adult in sight doors closed. there is no signing in or out, anyone can pick your child up. I am an alumni of the boys and girls club and it was nothing like this. they don’t care about your child's well being or safety so if you care about your children please do not send them to this club. This is so unfortunate i use to love the club growing up and this experience the displayed for my son was nothing near when i went here.

Place is amazing but the director have her own rule to run the club. I wish say abuse of the power. Even with the employees. Me as a parent, I'll never take my kids at Santee location back again

Safe, fun environment for my kids. Helpful, friendly staff. My kids love it here. Game room, computer lab, basketball gym, teen center. Plenty of options to keep everyone busy and engaged.

Terrible security, I picked up a friends child and they didn’t even check my ID or see if I’m on an authorized list. They pushed the child out the door to the curb with no adult. When my kids are of age I’d avoid using this facility

You will not find a better place for after school care or summer camps for your children. AMAZING prices and the staff really care about the kids. Keep your kids safe while they are having fun.

Love this place, they are so caring and attentive to all the kids, Ms. Tessa is amazing! They also do parties the last Friday of the month so it makes for a great babysitter so parents can do date night.
