My only child attended Calaveras Kindercare center and we started when the Covid pandemic disrupted everything normal and comfortable. Our situation was very complicated and we were at a nadir in our lives when Miss Dianna spoke to me about a spot that I think became available when I needed it the most. My child has always been on the meek side and was barely speaking when we started with Miss Lisa and Miss Dianna. Today, on her last day, my child transformed to a confident, well-mannered, kind, very verbal to articulate her emotions and feelings. The table manners she learnt at Kindercare have given me a lesson or two. Even though the food menu at our home is very different, my child has acquired a taste for a multi-cultural and healthy cuisine that is served from their in-house kitchen. We love Miss Sylvia and her culinary skills so much that we want to be like her some day. As a mom, I cannot be happier when my child appreciates great food especially because we are very picky eaters. Over the years, we spent time with almost every teacher at the center, we started with Miss Lisa, graduated to Miss Linda's and Miss Nicole's classroom, had great fun with Miss Alina, Miss Rae Ann, and Miss Nelia, and finally we jammed with Miss Nanda, Miss Gurdeep, and Miss Lucia. Miss Rikti teaches music as an extra curricular activity and we love her. The assistants are just as great. I cannot remember all their names, but we know their faces all too well. Their smiles are their best feature.
Its not just the staff, its the premises too, they are clean and hygienic. The environment is gleaming with happiness from the smiling children, tears and sniffles from some who cry because they have just been dropped off by their parents. Oh, they quickly smile because there are other children wiping away their tears and making them smile (crediting the teachers who taught them how to be compassionate). The center reeks of positivity and safety. Kids will always be kids, they are forgiving, they love unconditionally. So, a few scratches and bruises are barely noticed. However, if there's something that the parents should know, there will always a call on your phone to explain the situation and what was done to take care of it, with all the extra TLC.
We love the staff and each has made an indelible mark on our lives. My child knows enough Spanish to teach me colors and numbers. We also learn about different cultures and traditions. Celebrating Holi and Diwali and remembering our ancestors on the Day of the Dead, observing Cinco De Mayo, celebrating the Chinese New Year, make it even special for all the different children who come together no matter what. I love the diversity that comes with the curriculum.
Overall, our experience with Calaveras Kindercare is a memory we would cherish for a long long time. We highly recommend this center and Miss Dianna. She truly has a flair for the profession she is in. She truly makes it a home away from home. Sign-up your children, parents. You will not regret it.

My daughter started preschool here during the Covid pandemic so it was a difficult transition for all of us. Although we weren't allowed in during this time the teachers and the director were really great at communicating with us. They sent us photos, videos, topics of the day, naps and intake. They provide a good variety of snacks and lunch as well, as working parents this helped us a ton. They are open all year round, except during federal holidays and they always have wonderful activities planned throughout the year. After starting here I noticed my daughter to be more social, confident, improved writing, and even knew several Spanish words. I know my daughter enjoyed her time here. As our first experience with preschool I would say it was a great one.

My eldest attended this center for a little over two years. The only reason we left was because she was entering the public school system (wish we didn’t have to leave!). Everyone is so wonderful! They got great enriching activities. My daughter really loved all her teachers (last class was with Ms. Alina and Ms. Nelia). Director Ms. Dianna is so approachable and always available. Their app is very helpful and shows us photos/videos of what’s being done that day and makes it easy to communicate with the director/teachers. My daughter was always having fun and would tell us what she learned from school that day on our way home. She looked forward to going to school every morning and would say ‘why are you here so early’ when I am picking her up at the end of the day near closing time!! Can’t say enough good things… We highly recommend this place (and we miss you all very much!)!

Both of my kids have gone here and we love the environment and the friendly teachers. I have always felt comfortable leaving my kids here and they always come back happy and healthy. They were a blessing during the pandemic and the remote school year as well. Will always recommend!

An amazing amazing daycare!!! I couldn’t have been happier. My kid started going here at 18mo of age. It took about 2-3 weeks for him to get adjusted, but after that I could see amazing changes/development in him. He started talking so much more, his interactions with kids around was great and also he started eating by himself using a fork and spoon by himself. Basically he started getting a lot more independent. The reason for all this is the amazing teachers here. We had a bad experience at our previous daycare (home based) and were stressed how this would work out, but the teachers there were so assuring and that made all the difference. Today he looks forward to going to KinderCare (even on weekends!!!). Miss Stephany, Miss Martha, Miss Raennne and Miss Diana are amazing teachers and I would highly recommended this daycare to parents who want to either start daycare for their kids or for parents who want to transition from home-based daycare to a commercial one. Thank you KinderCare!!! 🙂

My son has loved this school, recently we moved from the east coast he is very comfortable on the first day. And professional teachers and they are providing nutritious food daily and they are teaching new languages to kids that’s very impressive. Highly recommend it to all parents.

Thank-you Calaveras KinderCare for 5 glorious years of high quality child care! Kindergarten was a breeze thanks to your Pre K/TK program! From the time our little one was 18 mos to present (school vacations), I've enjoyed the comfort of knowing that she was being cared for in a loving, structured, educational environment while her adults are at work.
