This college was ok at first. I was doing fine I had all A's. One day my instructor went and dropped all my A's in English to an F. She did this after I mentioned having trouble in high school with English. I asked her for help, she screwed me over instead. Honestly this school is full of racist instructors which is why I transferred out. What made me think they were racist was the way the instructor would talk about a motorcycle gang and what she did to me. I'm sure it's been done to other Latinas too. I tried to appeal it because she literally dropped my A to an F the week of finals. All because I mentioned having trouble with English. When I tried to get the school to help they ignored my issue. I didn't get nothing not a call not a email and when I would call for resource help they would not answer. They seem to brush it under the rug. If you are looking into college and you're not military or White don't try this college. They are very racist.

Haven’t even started going here yet and I’m already pretty annoyed with the staff. Late phone call appointments, being bounced around between staff and not getting questions completely answered. I’m a first time college student and active duty military.
I thought the staff would be a little more helpful and friendly. Getting a degree plan and basic questions answered about it was the equivalent of getting teeth pulled. Had I not already invested time and energy getting paperwork started to go here I would choose a different school. I feel as if the staff here don’t even want students to go here. They need a serious lesson in customer service and professional etiquette. Words can’t explain how dissatisfied and disappointed I am with this institution after only a few short encounters. They should be ashamed of themselves, especially the academic advisor and the so called military/ veteran point of contact . I’m sick!

I had a great experience talking to a financial aid department staff member through the phone regards of how FAFSA works. The Library employees don't hesitate to answer your questions or concerns. I highly consider taking a visit to this school and applying here. I hope that West Hills Coalinga also has friendly and helpful staff in the financial aid department.

West Hills College Lemoore is a great school. I've been to three other community colleges over the years, and WHCL has given me an extremely positive experience. The instructors are helpful and understanding. They have made my time at the school a pleasure.

Great college that care about the students financial situation. The college offers a program called DSPS which helps students get thing they need for their classes and they help with a lot of other stuff too. The college also help all student save money by supplying every student with a virtual text book. On top of that all teacher are cool and not strict.

My negative review is due to the *HORRENDOUS* time I have trying to reach Student Services and Administration. They *NEVER* answer! Administration conveniently does not have a direct extension on the list of options when you call, and it’s a gamble trying to get an answer when you are finally transferred to any direct extension. The receptionist in the Administration Building is as unprofessional as it gets: she’s chewing and popping her gum, she is rude to the students, and speaks with that annoying tone where everything she says sounds condescending. I am so glad I don’t attend West Hills— the ONE semester I did, I had amazing professors!

Where to start? The President of the school Don W is a class A man. He brought women's basketball and tons of programs to little old Lemoore. The women's team is head up by Coach Andrea P who runs a tight ship but has a great heart. The Financial Aid to the library all the way to the Snack bar staff, everyone is always there to help with a smile and a helping hand. Debra in the snack bar has the best spicy chicken nuggets, tell her Erista sent you and my favorite teacher is the former Ms. Rene Sanchez. Ask about the history teacher Rene and you'll enroll in an enlightening class! I was a former athlete and even as a student you are offered so much, counseling, tutors, and online help for all your needs.
