Ok moms and dads...let's face it! Convincing kids (any age) to be in an enrichment program could be challenging for some...especially during the summer months!!! LOL Well...Huntington Learning Center in Westwood, NJ changed all that for us! The space is centrally located in the heart of Westwood. Easy to get to, and very well maintained. Very clean! The entire experience was extremely positive!!! From the initial outreach to the center; the owner/director (Betsy) was warm and welcoming from the very beginning. Betsy took the time to explain the various programs/times thoroughly to both my husband and I. She made sure to explain we had payment method options. Once our twins concluded their initial intake testing, Betsy reviewed where their strengths and opportunities lie. She matched the children to teachers that
they connected with immediately! A male teacher for my son (his request); and a female for my daughter. The twins spoke to their teachers' journeys on how they "got to where they are" and truly became their mentors. They enjoyed attending their sessions this summer. Their interest in math and reading has heightened immensely! Both grew and learned so much in the areas of math and reading! I am confident the time they spent at Huntington, Westwood set the foundation for a successful upcoming 8th grade year! We will continue our journey with the center this year as I feel very strongly it will be a helpful tool for the children to grow even further. THANK YOU Betsy and team!

My older daughter had a great experience with her ACT Prep a few years back. My older daughter is currently enrolled and we are both very happy and impressed with the tutoring and guidance she is receiving. Betsey is wonderful to work with!

Our sons have been working with Huntington Learning Center of Westwood on and off for various reasons over the last few years. It has helped them tremendously. The center is easy to work with and flexible with schedule changes when needed due to our hectic sports schedule. The teachers at the center are wonderful!

The director at this Huntington, Betsy Beckman, Is one of the kindest, caring, most helpful human beings on this planet and by far the best Huntington Director (and with two kids going there from middle school through college prep we have seen a few) ever. She is honest and caring, and her staff is the same. She is not in it for the money but genuinely cares about the students. Lots of the staff have been there for years so you’re not getting some newbie when you’re there. If I could give Betsy and the Westwood Huntington ten stars I would.

Sure, it may seem expensive at the time… But I’ll just tell you, my daughter, Maggie , went to Huntington and had great success. She will be graduating from UC Berkeley after 3 1/2 years of study. The chances of a New Jersey graduate even being excepted at Berkeley are slim to none.Plus , graduating in 3 1/2 years is a testament to the work ethic that Huntington instills in the student. That one semester savings has paid for Huntington 10 times over.
