I went to this school for maybe 6 months in 2010. It wasn't until recently that I realized how much attending this school, specifically Ken "Chief" Hill, influenced my life. I didn't become very smart and im not wildly successful, but I have a wonderful family and have lived a fulfilling life with more to come. I hope the current staff continues to nurture the youth and give them the same guidance I received at a young age.

This school is like a prison. This school is more like a reform school than a school where children can go to learn. There are four security cameras on each classroom and the teachers are incredibly rude and mean to the students. A student just got suspended for wearing leggings to school. What kind of school suspends a student for wearing leggings? They also wouldn't let an 18 year old student go to EVIT because their mom said they couldn't go. In the office I heard everything. They wouldn't let her leave or go home but told her she couldn't leave without her mom to pick her up but of course her mother never got her so she was being forced to stay there even though she was 18 years old and suspended.

I have to be honest, when my son was referred here to get caught up I was afraid. What kind of kids would be there? Would he fall between the cracks? But I have to say I am beyond pleased with the education and environment they have. Staff takes a no-nonsense approach but still manages to connect with the kids. They encourage and lead students and set them up for success! They help them achieve their goals approach gain confidence. I could not be more grateful for each of them! THANK YOU!

I would give it an zero Star. My child was forced to this concrete box that looks like an jail. Do yourself an favor and go to an online school or ofher option, other than that Chandler High and Hamilton give kids that are behind in credits. The teachers curse at students in class and can go online and change kids lesson grades and even tell the kids they will do whatever they want to. Told my son that they can care sh.t less about their grades and out come, because they still get an pay check at the end of the day! STAY FAR AWAY!

This school is where I learnt to read. Great educational establishment. They have good school lunches. Mac n cheese is good when it’s fresh. Also pork chops are good too!

Just the impression when driving in: looks like a jail with a high fence and small windows. At least it has an American flag.
