I cannot say enough about Dyane and his tutoring ability. I have been a student of his for a little less than a year and he has taken me from struggling with basic math skills to getting A’s on math exams and ending with an A in my college math class.

He also helped me pass my TEAS exam and for the nursing program! I struggled with all areas on the test before I met him and he was able to help me with every category and built my confidence along the way.

Not only has he helped me with my math and TEAS, he has also helped me pass with my required anatomy and physiology classes, one of which was an accelerated 6 week course. Dyane is fully knowledgeable on every topic or concept I’ve brought to him, and without him I don’t believe I could have been as successful as I was.

I have recently been accepted into my nursing program and I know I COULD NOT have done it without him. He caters his tutoring to the way you learn best. He always has great suggestions and explains difficult concepts in a much easier way. He is extremely patient and genuinely wants to see his students succeed.

I feel so fortunate to have met him and would highly recommend him to ANYONE! If you are struggling with any course or material, Dyane is your guy.

I found about this place through Wyzant. Dyane and Kenny are both great tutors with personable personalities. I have been working with both tutors for about a month now, and I have seen improvements within my studies. Dyane and Kenny get a feel for your learning curve and then adapt to it. They don't try to completely change your method of learning, and that's one thing I really like about working with them. They pick your brain, use what you know, and then show you new teaching/learning methods that works best for you. The rates are very reasonable. If you only plan on working with Dyane or Kenny (or both) for a short amount of time I recommend paying weekly or purchasing one of their lower priced packages. If you plan working with them for the long haul (like myself) I recommend purchasing one of their high priced packages. No matter how long you plan working with them though you will see improvements if you stick with it. I highly recommend Dyane and Kenny as tutors they are good people. That want to see you succeed.

I highly recommend A Tutor Place to anyone who struggled with the TEAS as much as I did. The reading portion was the most difficult part for me. I had failed that section 3 times before I decided to get a tutor. That was when I was referred to Dyane. Dyane takes the time to evaluate you and comes up with a plan to help you through what you’re struggling with. After I took my test for the 4th time, I passed the reading section and had increased my score by 30% than what I had previously scored. I don't even know where to start..

I've been struggling with the TEAS exam to get into the nursing program. I had gone through all the TEAS exam books there is, all the resources as far as Facebook and looked through all the documents. But for some reason I kept coming up short. And I was close to the last time I can retake this exam for my program.

When I started studying with DYANE I felt like a loss cause and I didn't want to take this test one more time. He pushed me through that and helped me understand all the parts I was struggling in. He knew exactly what I need to improve on an how to help. I just took the TEAS exam and PASSED and scored way above where I was at in the last time.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DYANE! He is not only an amazing tutor but an awesome person!

I highly recommend A Tutor Place. The price is very reasonable and they are very accommodating with scheduling. Dyane and Kenny make you feel very comfortable where you don’t feel judged for asking questions or asking them to repeat explanations until you understand the lesson, Trust me!!!! They are very knowledgeable and can help with about any class in your college experience. Dyane helped me Ace English 102, Math 120, Anatomy & Physiology 224, Womens studies 101 at CSN. Lastly Chemistry 108, in this class I couldn’t understand my instructors teaching method and was confused all the time, my first quiz & Exam I got a D and was going to drop it, Dyane helped me pass the class with a B. He can also help in preparation with the TEAS and HESI exams for the nursing program.
