I'm going to graduate soon I've been in this school for over 5 years and I'm appreciative of my teachers I've had great times during the time I was here, they taught me, they showed, to prepare for the next adventure and you know what's better NO BULLYING! (well I haven't seen any bullying nor ever knew of any bullying) also in this school I've made my nicest friends. Now the staff, the staff are very supportive and kind and when they need to step up they will and if you need it their's also an after school program, I hope to return when I get older to see progress of this school

This is beyond the worst school of all. Where do I begin first off I would like to begin with the staff in the front desk they are very rude and have you standing there for more than 10 minutes without greeting you or asking if there's anything they can do for you. As a parent the number one thing you fear is your kids safety. This school does not do a good job when it comes to safety. People can enter in and out of the office without the staff noticing. The staff also do not ID parents or strangers when they pick up students at this facility. On the third week or more my daughter attended this school she noted to me that the teacher had lost her, I was upset because the teacher did not notify me. I had to hear it from my daughter at home. I asked her the next day the teacher told me with a smirk on her face that my daughter was telling the truth, I was upset that she did not tell me. The teachers worry more about rushing the kids out of the classroom instead of trying to answer questions. My daughter's teacher asked my husband and I why we were always asking a lot of questions regarding my daughter. I also apply to volunteer at the school so that I would be around my children more because I did not feel safe for them, the lady at the parent center told me that she would call me within 2 weeks after I had given her my application and my vaccination records. When two weeks passed by I went back into the parent Center and had asked her why it was taking so long she said that it would take even longer so I had to be patient. Two months later I go back to the parent Center to ask about my status of being a volunteer the lady was very rude and did not want to help me at all. I set an appointment with the principal because I had many concerns about the staff her teacher losing my daughter and a parent Center of why I could not volunteer at the school and she did not seem at to care at all. When I told her that the teacher had lost my daughter she said I had to understand that the teacher had more than 15 piers in her classroom. When I told her it was taking a long time to volunteer that I had turned in my application in the beginning of the school year she said oh you're going to have to wait a long time instead of her trying to find a conclusion for me. It has been a whole semester my daughter has now started first grade and I was never qualified to volunteer because they never got back to me. I also had concerns about my daughter falling behind , I am a first-time mom at this so she said I shouldn't worry about anything that everything would be okay. Two weeks later I received my daughter's report card with all unsatisfactory from my daughter. I also noticed one of my daughter's classmate outside the school he was crying for his mom when I took him back into the classroom the teacher screamed at him and ask him why he got out. This was by far the worst experience for me as a first-time mom wanting the best for her kids. I've had many parents complain about how rude the staff members are at the school and many parents who have not decided to take their kids here. My daughter started first grade and is no longer coming back to this school. I do not recommend this school for any kid.

This school surprises to no end. I took my daughter out of project based learning and put her here the last semester of the first grade. She is now a fifth grader and I am now going to tell you how I feel

First teacher used this behavioral grading system and would send home notes with colors to indicate how well she was doing. Sometimes I would get These cards with stupid faces ms Burgess would draw as if to indicate that she was annoyed with my daughter. She also wasn't performing to standard. I was then told by the teacher that because she doesn't focus on anything but talking to friends she misses the assignments and that she is not doing her homework or turning in assignments on time, I ask can you send me her homework assignment via email or fax, and was told "no I can't do that for you". I actually was told that all the years she has been there with the exception of her current teacher Mr.revalo who has actually been the only teacher out of all of them that will talk directly to me and did agree to give me her assignments via text. At the end of first grade knowing that she did not make the grade, ms. Burgess passed her anyway. In second grade she started behind the other students and couldn't get catch up, I did ask if the school had an afterschool program that would help her with homework since I have a hard time helping her to understand math that I was never taught how to do (common core) I was told no by the office attendant. turns out that was a lie. but the program that is offered had already been full but if I put her on the waiting list she might get a spot by fifth grade. I asked for the form at the beginning of the school year (2nd grade) I was told if I want to sign her up, I needed to come back at noon when the forms are available and I asked can't you send them home with my daughter so I can go to work and keep my job. the answer was no. she started becoming the victim of random bullying that later started getting more and more targeted. At times she wouldn't be allowed to leave the bathroom if she didn't say the "password" what ever that means. I notified the teacher and I was informed by ms. Garry that my if the bullying wasn't seen, she couldn't do anything about it. So at this point I leave message after message and never got a response back and I have watched my daughter come home crying beaten bruised bitten had Rock thrown at her face etc. This would all strike a cord with me because I can't remember now if it was ms Burgess or ms Garry but one of them decided at one point that it was my daughter who couldn't keep her hands to herself and whenever the kids would line up and walk, my daughter had to follow five feet behind the others. Tell me that's not a setup to be picked on by the entire class do to this inability to get a hold of the classmates. At the end of second grade again not up to standard but again she was passed to the third grade. At this time Mr Marin is my daughter's teacher, I must say that this was a turning point for me because I saw a teacher who had no problems telling me about how my daughter was doing and again no programs to offer but he did give me his time and allowed my daughter to stay after school for some tutoring, I did see improvement for her, however the bullying again I am hearing that the same boy was bothering her and no one can see that. Mr Marin's big let down for me was never returning my letters, not calling me and waiting for open house or parent teacher conferences to address my issues. Overall he did care a lot for my daughter and I got that but we do need results at the end of the day. He made her progress more than any other teacher which is why he has my respect but again at the end of the school year she was borderline to hitting the standard and was below however she was passed. I went to the office at the end of third grade to pick up my daughter's asthma medicine from the office only to find out that all year they never once opened it and gave her some. I will tell you about the fourth grade in another post.

I give one star to this school and it doesnt even go to the school it goes to a fifth grade teache MR.AREVALO he is the only teacher i have a good communication with my daughter was his student for fifth grade and he was always there to help. Any questions we had he was always up for any help he is the best that this school has ..Sandly i cant say the same thing about the rest of the staff ....my son got kicked on the stomach once and when i spoke to the principal she just said she would speak to my son and the other kid, turns out she never did. How can i feel safe to leave my kids there when the ones that are authorized to do something dont. Not cool. But THANK YOU MR. AREVALO for everything u do to help our kids and going beyond ur job. Ur awesome .

I go to this school and it is beautiful and there is no bullying and the teachers are great and in 5th grade at the end of the year before graduating you get a big party and only 5th graders can enter .There is also orchestra 4th-5th grade but you have to have good grades and I'm in orchestra and I'm going to 5th grade

Have you lost your minds? Suspending a student simply for voicing his 1st amendment right? You people have no ideal the trouble you have brought to yourselves. What is wrong with you?
