Had 1,500 page medical documents and other recruit station didn’t want to do because it was too long. I got recommended to come to Mira Mesa but coming over here they was really patient, got me the job I wanted, worked with my schedule, got me a quick ship date.

Going through my process to join the Army I spoke with the Mira Mesa recruiting office with recruiter SGT Roldan. He is very professional, respectful and will help you achieve all that is needed going through the entrance process. SGT Roldan has helped me secure the MOS I felt suited me best.
My process was longer than most applicants and he helped me push through, I would recommend SGT Roldan to anyone that is interested speaking about joining the Army.

My recruiter SSG Carig is the best dang recruiter in the world!! (in my humble opinion) She stayed with me through thick and thin and showed that she GENUINELY cares about my future! She was super transparent with the process and also let me know that I could leave at anytime during every point of the process, which made me feel SUPER lucky that SSG Carig was my recruiter since some friends I had made along the way have told me about their recruiter stories... a little side story but she had also helped a friend of mine get the job he wanted even when it was full!!:D
I became somewhat acquainted with the other recruiters in the office too! They're all so silly and cool! I've even learnt how to map coordinates with SSG Roldan which was a cool skill. You can even ask them for tutoring/advise on military skills which is very nice of them!)
I'd say my experience at this recruiting station was too good to be expressed all on a yelp review, I'm glad it was them that I met them before any recruiting station. I'm a very stressing recruit-ie and I'm glad they didn't turn me away after the month mark haha! But if you're reading this SSG Carig, this review goes out to you!! You were super patient and never gave up on me!!!^^

Let’s start by saying THANK YOU to all the recruiters in this office.
When I knew it was the perfect time for me to join, I did not know which office or who to speak to. I reached out to a friend that is in the army and asked for any recruiter down in San Diego. My friend gave me a recruiter by the name, Sergeant CARIG. When I called the office, the first thing SSG Carig did was introduced herself, and thanked me for reaching out to her. I am located in Chula Vista and this office is in Mira Mesa. I knew it was a far drive, so I was hoping it was worth it with this recruiter. After meeting Sergeant CARIG, I felt very comfortable and welcoming in the office.

I am in my mid 30s so I knew what to expect already. All my friends are in the army and they told me all the information that I needed. When I first spoke with SSG Carig, I did not tell her that. I wanted to see if she told me the truth about what to expect when joining. So this was my test if I should believe her or go with someone else closer to my house. I have to say SSG Carig did not hide anything from me and told me everything how it is. True definition of a recruiter. This is why I stuck with her, not only for her honesty, but the hospitality she provided for me and my family. Joining any branch in the military is not easy, but she made sure to make it as smooth as possible. My wife loved her presence as well. Special thank you to SSG QI for getting involved and helping my process as well. Thank you Mira Mesa location for your assistance and being a part of me and my family’s new chapter.
