I was in search for a good SAT prep tutor. I had pretty much decided on a company, based on costs but after reading reviews about C2 Education, I wanted to do my due diligence and make a call to them before I finalized.

The conversation I had with the Director, Patrick Shin completely changed my decision. His genuine interest to help make sure my son gets the best score, and his summary of C2’s approach and tactics instantly gave me a level of assurance that their help could be a game changer.

Over the past three months, my son has worked with the C2 team, in particular Gavin, who is fantastic, but they are all great! With an approach that focuses on areas to improve, my son’s score jumped 250 points and surpassed our expectations — with a score of 1450.

Even though my initial intent was just to find an SAT tutor, now seeing their mentoring and tutoring approach, I fully see the value in partnering with them for both my kid’s academic year.

We appreciate C2’s flexibility with with our schedules, but it’s the skill set and vast knowledge of the team on a variety of subjects that we believe makes C2 stand out from the other tutoring agencies.

Glad to have C2 Education, wish I had the foresight to use them sooner as they are an great extension for parents.

It's a joke! whatever they are telling you when you want to get in,do not believe it. My older kid bought a package, not able to use all the hours, they promised siblings can use it whenever. Now they are telling me it's expired and there's nothing they can do about it. Scammer!

I spent two wonderful years teaching at C2 Monrovia, and I'm truly sad to leave my students, coworkers, and Center Director Justine behind to pursue graduate studies. My job was an extremely rewarding one. Not only did I witness our students achieve their short and long-term goals, but I also got to form deep and memorable relationships with them. Working closely with our students in an intimate C2 setting allowed me to play the part of both tutor and mentor, and it has been a real pleasure seeing our wonderful students grow into confident, hard-working, and compassionate young adults. There are few jobs that allow you to directly experience the life-changing impact you have on other people's lives, and I'm grateful that I landed one of them. Although I placed a heavy burden on myself to positively influence our students' character and academic success, the payoff in their college acceptances, return visits, and gratitude has been more than worth it.

I need to thank our Center Director Justine and Program Lead Alan as well as my fellow teachers for making my job awesome. We all shared a passion for helping our students grow, and this was clearly evident in our bright and energetic environment. Work could be hard for both teacher and student, but there was not a single dull day at C2 Monrovia. Justine was instrumental in drawing out the full potential of our students and myself as a teacher. She encouraged me to be more than just a tutor while granting me the freedom to pursue my own teaching style, and I can confidently say that she is the best boss I've ever had. Thank you Justine, Alan, teachers, and my beautiful students for the great memories. I will miss you all!

Having been to several other tutoring centers and test prep places, I can fully appreciate how amazing C2 is. C2 raised my SAT score 260 points, allowing me to realistically apply to the school of my dreams. C2 offers a variety of services: SAT/ ACT prep, AP help, college writing, and curriculum advice. C2 is structured so that I can get help on my specific weaknesses; sessions are usually in a 1:3 ratio (teacher: student), and even 1:1. I recommend C2 to anyone who is tired of test centers who don't focus on your specific needs.

I been going to C2 on and off for 6 years now and it is the tutor place that I always end up coming back to. The teachers are very friendly and the small class size really allows you to make a big progress in each session(2hrs). I was able to rise my SAT score by 150 at C2 and maintain my grade in school as well. I love coming to C2 even on the days I don’t have a class just to study and do homework in a supportive environment.
