Worst CNA school ever. The teacher doesn't even teach. She just had us watch videos and teach ourselves. She also doesn't show us the proper way of executing the "skills" to be able to perform them correctly for the state exam. We payed money to be taught yet she leaves the class for a period of time and has us stay on our own and figure it out. Class was supposed to be from 9am to 2pm yet she regularly lets us out at 11am or 12:30pm the latest. I feel like I'm not getting my moneys worth. Ms.
Connie has been the worst teacher I have ever had.
Her attitude towards teaching is the laziest I've ever seen. She doesn't even bother to demonstrate to the class certain skills properly. While practicing the skills in class, her attitude is condescending and rude while trying to redirect us with what we are doing wrong all while never having taught us anything. The nature of a nursing job is serious and people training to work with patients should be taught properly and shown techniques that are safe to perform on people, not leave us on our own to figure it out for ourselves. It's an affordable program but I still expected to be taught properly.

First of all, enrolling in this school was the worst decision I’ve ever made. Since day 1 I realized that this class was not worth for what I paid for. Ms Connie’s teaching techniques are the laziest I’ve ever seen. She made us responsible to learn the skills by ourselves without her teaching and once you asked for help she gets upset about the skills that she NEVER taught us!! For theory, she’d just read us all these modules and made us write the entire chapter reviews which was very time consuming since we needed to have been focusing more on skills instead. For skills, she didn’t seem to care and was just sitting there on her computer for the variety of the time. If you want to be a good CNA I don’t recomend this class. I know that this was a pretty affordable program but I expected her to teach us what the website told us before it started. Worst school ever.

To start, I regret signing up for this class due to the fact that Ms. Connie hardly teaches anything. She often makes up her schedule which is obvious when she dismisses class at random times. She rarely takes responsibility for not showing how to properly do skills and acts irritated when a student does a skill incorrectly even though she hasn’t taught the skill. Based on what I have witnessed I would not recommend this class to anyone who is seriously trying to learn and wishes to learn more from a teacher than a textbook.

I’m still in the middle of my journey half way through. It has been an enjoyable experience. I’ve been out of a classroom environment forever ago. But Ms. Connie is very helpful! ?
