I went to West Coast during Oct-Nov for their 5 week program with instructor Crystal. I loved the program and made some amazing friends. Crystal was an amazing instructor who made the dense material enjoyable and memorizable. I am not going to lie the class is tough, not necessarily material wise but the fact that a lot of information is thrown at you at once, so be prepared to study a lot. Its kinda like trying to drink water out of a fire hydrant. My advice for new students would be when studying is to make sure to actively recall information and not just passively studying. For example, making flashcards instead of just rereading and highlighting the textbook. Also, make sure to ask questions and enjoy the time there it flys by fast. Good luck to the new students!

Crystal is the best teacher I’ve ever had. Shout out her and Jackie for being so awesome and guiding me through the whole process and class. West coast EMT should be your first choice for EMT cert.

Took the Full-Time course and I highly recommend it. It is a struggle but it is doable and worth it. This course does a great job of preparing you for your EMT career. You get a good amount of skills practice. The instructors are very nice and helpful. I had Crystal as my instructor. She is great at teaching, allows for questions, and most of all wants you to pass. This place is the right choice to get your EMT training.

West Coast EMT is the best! I'm glad that I chose to go to school here. It was hard but worthwhile. Our Saturday class is very fortunate to have Ms. Samantha Tonetti as our instructor. Not only that she taught us well by the book, but also from her hands-on true to life experiences that she shared. The best instructor ever! ... Live for other, so others may live.

I was taking the M/W evening class for the Riverside Campus. I was disappointed in our particular instructor. They seemed annoyed when you needed help and we wouldn’t get skills instructors on some days. Which it is a Night Shift for them so it probably is harder for the school to get instructors on skills days. I do have to say Crystal is an awesome teacher. We had her for a week and she was helpful. I would recommend her class if you can take it. I did not pass this course unfortunately and will take a community college course that is a little more prolonged and less accelerated if I decide to go through again.

I’m in the full time West Coast EMT course, and I have had a very positive experience. It is a lot of information all packed into 5 weeks, and it requires daily studying to be successful but it is definitely doable! My instructor Shaun was always available to answer any questions after class and would even let us stay later to practice our skills. The skills instructors are all very motivated and genuinely want you to succeed, especially Laura. I would highly recommend this class, but only do the full time course if you can dedicate yourself both in and outside the classroom.

Just finished this course last month, it’s challenging but overall good instructors that prepare you for the field.

However I give them a low rating due to the staff’s sluggish pace in clearing me to take the NREMT exam. It has been over two weeks since I’ve finished the course, and many of my peers were cleared within the week. As I write this review I am still not cleared, and when I call they say “still working on it”. This sluggish attitude really makes this school look money hungry, so watch out prospective students! Look elsewhere if you want a strong path to be an EMT!

I am enrolled in the Full Time course in Riverside and just passed the course today 8/1/19. I am absolutely 100% pleased with West Coast EMT. My instructor, Shaun, is the type of person that genuinely cares about his students. He has taken his time to make sure he gives us real life scenarios that gives us a true feel as to what we will be dealing with in the field. The skill instructor are also amazing! Laura and Bryce were my personal favorite instructors because of how thorough they are. I am very happy I chose this school to start my career path!
