Kelly and Ed are awesome! The prices for the courses are very competitive and its in a beautiful area! I will say that because this is a crash course expect to study your butt off! The material that they provide is great for studying. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend!

If you’re coming from Spartan, great way to just take O&P training to revisit 2 years worth of training in 2 weeks and learn even more! Highly recommend! Ed is the man, very humble with incredible experience!

Absolutely great experience at AvTech. I was super stressed out and worried about passing all my tests to get my A&P before doing the AvTech course. Afterwards, I left with all my writtens done and mentally prepared for the Orals and Practicals. AvTech Exams made me feel comfortable with the material and they really want to see you succeed! Big shout out to Ed and Kelly for being awesome at what they do. I would 100% recommend anyone looking to get their A&P licenses to take this course. Totally worth it.

Took the class a couple years ago. John was our instructor. Super awesome dude and was very knowledgeable on all the subject matter. The course is no joke when you’re taking your written tests while learning everything the instructors have to show you. Would definitely recommend this course for anyone in the career field.

Kelly Ed amazing phenomenal support they are truly there to help you but you have to put in the work with no sweat equity in your future you will have a hard time passing and that will be your fault not there's they are more than willing to help but you have to help yourself as well... I did get my airframe license

This review is for the IA (Inspection Authorization) class that Av Tech offers. Unfortunately the class was not what I expected. I've taken quite a few test prep courses over the years (from other schools) to prepare for an exam, mostly FAA exams, all of which had an instructor going over everything that one could expect in the upcoming exam: they were intense, focused instruction from an instructor who was very familiar with the subject matter. This was not the case for the IA test prep class at AV Tech. On the first day we (there were 2 of us in the class) were taken to a classroom and given various books (Insp. and Alterations book (43.13 1B and 2B), a 2024 FAR-AMT book, etc. No instructor, just the books; we were told to 'go through everything, and take some practice tests after a couple of days'. (It's a 4 day course with the FAA IA test on the 5th day).
An A and P instructor came by a few times and asked if we had any questions, but that was it. You are on your own.
Save yourself over a $1000 for this course (and travel costs as well...) and just buy the books on Amazon- 'Inspection Authorization Test Prep' and 'Aircraft Inspection, Repair and Alterations AC 43.13-1B' and '2024 FAR AMT', total costs for all 3 is about $100. ALSO- you can download for free the FAA 'Computer Testing Supplement for Inspection Authorization' which is what you will have as reference material when you take the IA exam. The above documents are EVERYTHING we were given at the start. OR find a place that gives you actual focused instruction prior to sitting the FAA IA exam.
