Kweller Manhattan prepared my son extremely well for the SHSAT exam. Frances, the Founder, was always available via phone or email to answer any questions. Kweller Manhattan had great tutors (we really liked Dasha and Farib , both wonderful tutors who were responsive and communicative), lots of bonus test prep, emails filled with information and free workshops for parents and students. Kweller Prep is a godsend to all parents who are considering prep for their children. Before Kweller, my son was struggling with the writing assignment of the Hunter examination as well as the critical reading section. Often times, he couldn't finish the test and needed a lot more time than allowed. He now attends the Kweller manhattan location and not only did the tutors there help him with time management, they've also improved his writing and grammar skills considerably. He's even applied the same skills to his regular schoolwork and is getting much higher grades! I have full confidence in him for the upcoming Hunter exam in January-- this prep place is nothing short of a miracle.

Not to mention, his tutors are super communicative with my husband and I about my son's progress. When we pick him up, they always update us about his recent tests, essay scores, or participation in class. I've been to other prep places before and they've never been this welcoming!

I will start by saying that Kweller Prep helped me increase my SAT score by well over 200 points. I took prep classes 4 times per week and they were roughly 1.5- 2 hour sessions. I did this for about four months and took the SAT two times. Frances offered great advice along the way and her workshops were very helpful. The tutors were patient and knowledgeable. Through numerous practice exams, we were able to determine and focus on the skills that most needed improvement so no time was wasted. Though Kweller worked for me, I will say that no prep center is a miracle worker. Students really need to show commitment and dedication in order to show significant improvement. Kweller tutors place greater emphasis on this than other tutoring centers that I tried. They work very hard to motivate their students and keep them focused.

At Kweller, I was able to learn strategies that helped me be more efficient while taking the SAT. I also mastered my overall test taking skills, which was essential for success in my college career. I am now entering my fourth year at Northeastern University, one of the top universities in Boston, MA.
