I attended this school when I was 16 - so, I was terrible in high school I had all D's and F''s, I went from vanden to TEC when I turned 16, and I went to summer school.. i remember not having any motivation, but the teachers at Tec were so supportive and really encouraged me. I talked with the counselor and she told me at the beginning of the year, that i only need so many credits to graduate. She told me that if I earn every single credit that year, I could graduate by June ( : and I did !!! I turned in every single assignment and I did it. So proud of myself, I came to TEC behind in credits and then I ended up graduating high school a full year early! It's more one on one learning, which is what I needed. I felt as if vanden and vaca high were so crowded that the teachers at the regular high schools didn't give students like me a chance, they moved way too fast and did not care that their teaching styles were confusing they just kept moving through when I was stuck or confused at something-which caused me to become frustrated and wanting to give up. I'm now 21 and in college with a 4.0, I miss TEC. The one on one student-teacher relationship is very beneficial. 5/5 stars all the way.
