We had a great experience with the Huntington center at Wesley Chapel right from the beginning when we signed up for an assessment for our sophomore daughter. Barb walked us through the results and chalked out a very practical path for her, which made sure that we are not wasting any more money and time than necessary to get to her goal score. Barb was not at all pushing us to sign up, and suggested taking an ACT first before doing any prep, which was very unlike some of the other such preparatory places we had contacted earlier. Barb’s analysis/assessment of our daughter proved to mostly accurate, and she prepared with the most focus on 2 sections for around 8 weeks with a practice test closer to the ACT date. The teachers at Huntington were very encouraging, and clearly understood her needs. In the end, at her very first attempt of ACT, our daughter got to her desired goal score. I can vouch sincerely that it was the confidence instilled plus encouraging words from all of Huntington staff that made her realize her true potential, and take the test with much less stress. Thank you Barb, Amelia, and all of her teachers at Huntington who helped our daughter navigate this major milestone in high school successfully, so that now she does not have to worry about testing at all.

A comment from our daughter is that she felt treated as a person at Huntington, and it felt like a family of well-wishers looking out for her. She always looked forward to attending her weekly prep.

This place has been a Godsend since signing up our daughter in 7th grade. Before Huntington, she would sit and do five hours of homework everynight because she couldn't grasp the material during the day at school. After four months in the program, she was coming home with zero homework and a huge improvement in her grades. Our work isn't done and we're still prepping her so that 8th grade goes smoothly, but I definitely see the difference and one of the BIGGEST reasons it's worked so well is because she enjoys going to the center. It's not a burden or a "punishment" or seen as a waste of time. The teachers make it fun, and Barb has been exceptional at guiding us through the process. So grateful for Huntington!

My daughter completed an ACT prep program over the summer before her Junior year. She had such a great experience with the tutors and staff here. They were welcoming and always helpful. She learned so much from them! She brought up her score quite a bit-- did so well that early Fall of Senior year she already has multiple college acceptances. We absolutely recommend Huntington!

I have to give a HUGE shout out to Huntington Learning Center in Wesley Chapel for helping my son w SAT prep. His score went up over 200 pts and now qualifies him for merit scholarships at the schools he's hoping to attend in 2025. While the investment in test prep may seem lofty at first, for us, the outcome of a much more competitive score (many of the schools he's looking at want/require scores) will pay off 10 fold. The individualized plan HLC came up with for him both one on one in the classroom and online made all the difference. They are amazing to work with and have some much knowledge in this space!

I highly recommend the team at Huntington Learning Center in Wesley Chapel! They tested my son for academic readiness and test taking skills in prep for college admissions. We were presented with a personalized plan for improvement with an attainable pace and measurable results! His SAT scores went up and his GPA jumped, but more importantly his confidence and work ethic was a night and day improvement. He went from being hesitant to seek help when struggling to straight A’s his last three semesters of high school. He just graduated with honors this week and I cannot thank Jewel and her team enough!

My elementary school aged son starting coming to Huntington for some extra help in reading. Since starting in November, my son is on grade level. He has also gained more confidence in reading. We also like the quarterly meetings discussing his progress. Coming to Huntington has been extremely beneficial and we highly recommend them!

I can't rave about this place enough. My daughter (who missed over a year of in school learning due to health issues) was completely unprepared for the SAT. After a few months with Huntington, her score improved by over 100 points. More importantly, she regained her confidence at being a student. Even with all of her challenges during the Covid time, including a lower GPA, she ended up getting accepted at her top choice college and we are so thrilled. Huntington was a huge part of this!!!
