Wonderful caring staff who push my child to her potential using scientifically proven training methods. Grace was struggling at home with impulse control and lack of emotional maturity. At school, she had difficulty paying attention and remembering. I think she was getting used to struggling and failing so she was less willing to put forth a lot of effort for little result. LearningRx has increased her confidence and self-esteem by demonstrating that she is capable of ignoring distractions, focusing longer, and remembering facts, pictures, and numbers. She is now willing and able to apply herself because she believes she is capable of succeeding.

The unique LearningRx training methods have built her endurance for frustration, increased her working memory capacity, and developed her visual memory. These skills have improved her performance in all subjects to a measurable degree. She has exceeded the growth goals in reading and math MAP tests. She is catching up to her peers but most importantly she views herself as a successful student. LearningRx is worth every penny we invested in her future.

We love, love, love LearningRx! Our trainer, Furwah, was amazing! She was so patient with our daughter and provided lots of encouragement. We have seen huge improvement in our daughter’s short term memory and her ability to stay focused at school, home and even on the basketball court. We noticed a change in our daughter’s behavior about a month into the Lift Off program. Her teachers at school even noticed the difference as well. She seemed more confident and wasn’t bored at school anymore. I wish we had enrolled her in the Lift Off program sooner. The staff is awesome and very professional. We first heard about LearningRx at a homeschool fair, and it seemed like something that could really help Brantley.  When we first found out his trainer was going to be a younger guy, we were a bit nervous, but it didn’t take long to figure out that it was a perfect match.  Brantley and Michael got along great and talked about things that Brantley loves, like video games.  I think one of the main reasons his time here was so successful was because of the connection he had with Michael.  Michael would get so excited when Brantley would do well and pass levels that had been hard for him.  We could see that he wanted him to succeed just as much as we did.  The changes and improvements in him that have come from this are priceless.  It really has changed all of our lives for the better.  He is more confident and independent in school as well as his everyday life.  We will never forget our experience here and the changes it has made in Brantley’s life.

My story at LearningRx

My grades in reading were not that great including my end of grade test scores. I did not like to read at all. Anything that involved a lot of reading I ended up doing really bad on it. The reason why I did not like to read was because I had a hard time making a movie in my head. I couldn’t visualize what was happening in the story and would get lost and confused. Here is my story on how everything changed.

My parents wanted me to do better with my reading. At first I did not want to do this. However, when we came to LearningRx they showed me around and talked to me about how they play games to help retrain my brain. I really like how we played games to help me learn. For me it made learning fun.

Before my first session, I had to watch a movie called The Karate Kid. It was good and had to answer some question about the movie at my first session.

My brain trainer was Kerry and she is so sweet and nice. I met with Kerry three days a week from July through April. Now, you always have one trainer. Sometimes you will have two trainers when one is learning to be a trainer.

When you pass levels you get points. You can choose prizes from their selection or choose an item you would like to get instead.

We spent a lot of time working on improving my reading, however we worked on math too. I needed to improve my math skills but math problems also involve reading.

My family, teachers and I saw me grow in my reading. My confidence has grown as well. If I can do this, you can do this. Don't give up when it’s hard. I learned to try my best and not to let myself down.

My reading has really improved. I am making 90 and higher in reading and math at school. I now like to read because I can make a movie in my mind. As of right now I have read 20 books this school year. That is a lot of books for one school year for me.
