I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for Anjali, the owner of this outstanding Kastles and Krayons in Sunnyvale. As a parent, it's always a challenge to find a trustworthy and loving environment for your child, but Anjali's Daycare exceeded our expectations in every way.

Anjali is an exceptional caregiver who treats each child with love, kindness, and compassion, just as she would her own son. Her dedication to providing top-notch care is evident in everything she does, from preparing delicious, organic meals to keeping parents informed about their child's daily activities.

Speaking of food, my son absolutely adores the meals prepared by Anjali! The fact that they are fully organic and home-cooked makes us feel confident that our child is receiving the best possible nutrition.

Anjali's communication skills are also noteworthy. She takes the time to share detailed updates with each family about their child's daily experiences, including what they ate, played, and learned. This level of transparency and openness has been invaluable to us as parents, allowing us to stay connected with our child's life even when we're not physically present.

As my son prepares to transition to preschool, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Anjali for being an absolute lifesaver. Her love, care, and dedication have made a profound impact on our child's life, and we will always be grateful for the time he spent at her daycare.

Our kids attended kastles and Krayons and we have had the most wonderful experience with Anjali. From the moment we stepped through her doors, we knew our child was in caring and capable hands. Anjali and her staff genuinely cares for the kids and provides a clean, engaging and immersive experience. She also offers great tasting, nutritious menu throughout the week. Anjali has extensive experience and training in early childhood development, which is evident in how she interacts with the children. We love how she incorporates learning into playtime. Our children came home excited about the new things they've learned, whether it's through arts and crafts, storytelling, or outdoor activities. Hands down the best daycare.

Kastles and Krayons is simply the best when it comes to childcare. Anjali, the owner and primary caregiver, is truly exceptional and personalizes care to meet each child's unique needs. After a couple of negative experiences with other daycares, and Anjali immediately put our worries to rest. Our child thrived under her nurturing guidance. Anjali and her co-teacher foster independence, kindness, and strong communication skills in every child. The facility itself is well-organized and engaging, with a variety of activities that kept our child entertained and learning. And the food? Absolutely delicious – our child loved it!

I highly recommend Kastles and Krayons. It's located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in Sunnyvale near Ortega Park. The owner (Anjali) provides one of the most loving, nurturing and healthy environments for little ones. She’s been a blessing in raising my youngest over the years- it truly takes a village and she’s been mine through thick and thin. Whether it was introducing new foods, potty training, helping him express himself in words, social interaction and school readiness including getting him started on reading and writing- she’s done it at all. What I love the most is that she treats each kid like her own and works harder than anyone else I know- making home cooked meals from scratch everyday for the kiddos and celebrating every festival with fun and care. Thank you, Anju for truly creating a home away from home!

As a parent, finding the right daycare for your child can be a daunting task. You want to ensure that your child is receiving the best possible care and attention while you are away at work. After extensive research and visits to various daycares in the area during the pandemic, we finally found Kastles and Krayons - a gem of a place that exceeded all our expectations.
The moment we walked into this daycare and talked to Anjali, we knew it was something special. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately put us at ease, and we could tell that our child would feel right at home here. Anjali was very friendly and approachable, and took the time to answer all of our questions and address any concerns we had.
One of the things that stood out to us the most about this daycare was the level of care and attention that each child received. Anjali has been running the daycare for more than a decade, and it really shows. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every child felt loved and supported. Our child was always excited to go to daycare, and she even asked if she could go there on weekends too!
Another aspect of this daycare that impressed us was the focus on nutritious food. The meals provided were not only delicious but also healthy and balanced, which was important to us as parents. We appreciated the effort that Anjali put into ensuring that our child was eating well and getting all the nutrients she needed to grow and thrive. In fact, I would have enrolled myself in case there was no age cut off just for the delicious food. Our child carried through great eating habits fostered in daycare at home as well.
But what really sets this daycare apart is the level of compassion and attention that each child receives. Anjali and Bina care about the children in their care, and it shows in everything they do. They take the time to get to know each child individually and tailor their care to meet their unique needs and interests. Whether it's providing extra comfort during nap time or engaging in imaginative play, both of them go above and beyond to make sure that every child feels special and valued.
Finally, we have to mention the fabulous activities that are offered at this daycare. From arts and crafts to music and movement, there is always something fun and engaging for the children to do. The activities are creative and innovative in their approach to learning, and they provide a variety of age-appropriate activities that help to foster cognitive, social, and emotional development. The best thing is you get a cool video after each event and activity to share with friends and family. Our parents back in India really appreciated seeing them and enjoying vicariously through these videos.
In conclusion, we cannot recommend this daycare enough. It truly is a home away from home for our child, and we feel grateful to have found such a wonderful place for her to grow and thrive. We had visited Kastles & Krayons before the pandemic in 2020 and were impressed by how clean and organized the space was. We had a pleasant talk with Anjali and decided to enroll our daughter. However, we were on waitlist as it's highly sought after. We had to have our toddler stay at home due to pandemic and when things re-opened later in 2020, we could secure a spot at Kastles & Krayons.

As with most toddlers of the pandemic times, ours also had been socially isolated for about 6 months, which had had an impact on her social behavior. Soon after she started attending the daycare, we noticed changes in her. She was getting more social, independent and conversant. Anjali and her staff at the daycare are very affectionate and caring towards all the kids, which helps kids be themselves, open up and blossom.

Anjali and her staff are very professional and passionate about what they do. Their commitment to their passion (and Anjali's effective leadership) is pretty evident by the long term relationship the staff has with Anjali and her establishment. During our daughter's 2.5 years of attendance (and even before, as I gather), the staff never changed. It's our observation that generally anyone who attends Kastles & Krayons, end up staying there for long. This has helped our daughter (and us) develop long term friends, even outside the premises of the daycare.

Kids are allowed to express their individualities freely at the daycare. There have been a lot of instances where our daughter wanted to go dressed up in her own strange ways. Anjali and her staff were very empathetic and played along with her interest. Every kid's individual needs are sensed and attended to by Anjali and her staff while ensuring kids learn responsible behavior.

We have always joked that our little one gains weight when she atternds daycare and reduces when she stays home. Jokes apart, kids get to eat nutritious and tasty food at the daycare (Breakfast, lunch and snacks after nap. Breakfast was a big plus). Our daughter's expectation of how tasty the food has to be has been upped by the food she got at Kastles & Krayons (Pasta, served on Thursday's, was her favorite and she would load up. We could notice that the next day in....you know..)

The daycare has a pretty regular schedule, which makes kids feel secure and comfortable while developing their emotional, cognitive and social skills. They celebrate kids' birthdays and festivals at the daycare, which our daughter looked forward to all the time. There have been instances where celebrations were moved out to make sure no one misses out on those (esp if some kid is not feeling OK and is not able to attend on that day).

Anjali spends a good amount of time talking to each parent at the end of the day about how the day went for the kid (she also sends text message later with details). She pays very close attention to kids to identify their likes/inclinations/skills and guides parents on how we nurture it, which shows a genuine and personal interest in the development of kids. She has a ton of good resources that she shares with parents (on a variety of topics).

The whole time during COVID, the place was sanitized everyday and in general very firm about sick policy.

Finally, the best testament in my opinion for the affectionate and warm care our child got during her stay at Kastles & Krayons was the attachment she had for Anjali and her staff even when she had not seen their complete faces for almost 2 years (because they always wore mask during COVID). Our daughter recently graduated as a bubbly, talkative and mischievous preschooler from Anju Aunty's home (that's what our daughter called the daycare). We miss the place more than her (especially the freedom of dropping her off before breakfast). Even as we were leaving, Anjali had a lot of good advice for us.

Our second baby is on the way and we wouldn't think twice to drop the newborn off at Anju Aunty's home everyday (we are on waiting list). We feel lucky to have found Kastles & Krayons. Thanks to Anjali, her staff and her family.

If I could give more stars, I would! Kastles & Krayons is the best daycare I have come by. My son joined in the middle of the pandemic in July 2020 when he was just short of 2 years old. You can imagine the nervousness of enrolling one's child in daycare, add to it the pandemic.

But the experience that followed has been beyond incredible till date. Anjali is an absolutely brilliant teacher and caregiver to these kids. She takes her kids' wellbeing, growth, health and happiness very seriously! I had no doubt my kid lucked out when joining here.

In these crazy times, she's been extra careful, always reminding parents to exercise caution. She's wonderfully transitioned the little kids to everyday mask wearing. My son effortlessly wears his mask as a matter of habit before leaving the house and only takes it off when he has to eat it drink something. It's been such boon to have Anjali inculcate the importance of masks and hand washing at the daycare.

Food! Now where do I begin. Anjali is an amazing cook and she feeds the kids healthy and hearty meals. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are part of the deal and you get more than what you would ever expect. My son has developed a varied palate and is a certified foodie!! He loves tasty food and is not a fussy eater. That's the extent of the balanced, nutritious and tasty meals that Anjali cooks and feeds the kids. You know you're at the right place when your pediatrician endorses Anjali's daycare and food! (I'm not kidding!!)

Activities! My son is happy here, super active, learning everyday and has so much to talk about. It's a super thorough immersive experience that all kids get. There's so much thought that goes into structuring the curriculum and routine. She makes it a point to celebrate every festival/important holiday, and teach the importance of that day.

If you haven't got the hint yet, this daycare is very highly recommended. You can trust Anjali blindly to not just take care of your child but give them the best of education, warmth, encouragement, nutrition, and most of all love! She's a second mother to these kids. My son is always excited to go to daycare every single morning. And if he had it his way, he'd stay with his darling Anju Aunty! ☺️

Our 2 year old daughter went to Kastles and krayons. This was her first day care and she got adjusted super fast . Its very obvious that Anjali is very passionate towards her work and taking care of kids comes naturally to her. The place is sparkling clean .kids are served healthy home made food everyday . My daughter was a fussy eater. But under Anjali's guidance she started eating all her meals by herself. Everyday our little one goes happily in the morning and comes back with a huge smile in the evening.

In short If you are lucky to get a slot in this day care ,have no second thoughts.....you have landed on the best day care in the location !!
