About 9 years ago, when I was in 6th grade I began to have a hard time with math, my parents were both aware of this and wanted me to have all the tools I needed for success, so they began researching tutoring places and came across Sylvan! Sylvan truly helped me exponentially in not only math when I was in middle school, but that help continued to SAT/ACT Prep, final exam prep, homework support and more. Sylvan is such a wonderful place that doesn’t put a limit on what they will/will not help you with. Everyone at Sylvan is always prepared to help in the best way they possibly can! Without Sylvan, I’m confident I wouldn’t be where I am today.

My husband and I decided to enroll our son in tutoring for his reading. My son's reading level was not where it should have been for 2nd and 3rd grade. My son was nervous about starting tutoring, but ended up enjoying it because of his tutors. He said it was great to go because they always had a smile and were super helpful. Sylvan Learning brought up my son's confidence in reading along with increasing his reading level. He went from C/B grades in 3rd grade to A/B grades in 4th grade. He was so excited about passing his EOG Reading test this year, he wanted to bring the tutors donuts to let them know how he did. I highly suggest Sylvan Learning for tutoring because as a parent they communicated excellently. Every month we had a meeting to let us know exactly what he had accomplished and what he needed to complete.

Sending a big shoutout to the Sylvan, Battleground location in Greensboro, North Carolina! My son wanted to take the SAT one more time to get a higher score. Considering he only had one month to prep, my husband and I decided Sylvan was our best option. We registered him for the course, two weekly sessions for 4 weeks. Well, the results are in and he scored 230 points higher on the second test! Yes, his score went up 230 points with only one month of the SAT prep course. Thank you to Ms. Rosalyn and her staff for taking the time to patiently work with my son with a plan that was put together just for him. We are grateful.

If you try this place, you WILL stay. The staff is fantastic and a true dream team. My daughter is in the 2nd grade and behind on her reading level. I was afraid of enrolling her because I thought that she wouldn't like it, that it would not help, and that I would be wasting A LOT of money. I chose to enroll her because after talking with the team, I saw the passion/excitement that they have for helping children and knew that I was making the best decision to help my child. My daughter LOVES this place. She actually complains about going to school but has yet to complain about Sylvan. She is always so excited to tell me about her hour at Sylvan and to look at the spirit calendar so that she can earn extra tokens. Her classroom teacher has seen an improvement in her reading. I have seen an improvement in her reading but most importantly, my daughter has a confidence with reading that wasn't there before. This is PRICELESS. I am amazed everyday by this place.

Sylvan of Greensboro is an excellent learning center under the direction of Ms. Rosalyn Robinson.

Ms. Robinson created a customize learning program that improved our grandson's math level in a short period of time. We enrolled him in June and by September, he was at grade level along with his peers. He was very happy to start 4th grade and was confident that he was ready for school. He loves the reward system at Sylvan and looks forward to his lessons. Learning is fun at Sylvan. He went from hating math to making it his favorite subject at school. Hearing theses words was very encouraging.

The Sylvan approach is enjoyable, interactive, and uses the latest learning technology. The student to teacher ratio is small so that each student maximizes his/her learning potential with every lesson. It's an amazing program that delivers the results that you are seeking for your child.
