I have been with this center for about 9 months. Things started out well. The owner was friendly and polite but they have difficulty coordinating things and working with the parents. My child attends once a week and there are plenty of times that she was not given enough work for the entire week. When I called in for additional work, I was told to go to another center about 30 minutes away from my home to pick up the remainder of the work since they are only open couple days a week.
I also felt that the teachers do not encourage the kids appropriately. If the parents are devoting enough time at home and the child is progressing well, great. If the child needs a little additional attention, then they fall short. They do not incentivize the child appropriately (in conjunction with the parents) and are not very receptive of input from the parents.
I have been at other Kumon centers before and was disappointed with this center mainly because they were not well organized and I had to speak with them multiple times about the same issues without any results.
