I have always had a good experience with going to the county office. I have heard horror stories of county/welfare offices and was always grateful I didn't have to find out for myself. I fell on hard times and ended up homeless.. They helped me get into a hotel that day, got me into all the necessary county programs to rehabilitate myself back into society. Both of my county workers were extremely helpful, always getting back to me in a timely manner. One of them in particular J.Hopper always went above and beyond for myself and my family and I couldn't have been more grateful for such a great person to keep me motivated, and I really know that she cared about my family and I. I don't believe because of working with her and her helping set me up for success that I may ever need help again. Thank you for walking me through life until I could do it on my own completely again! You guys Rock!

I have had a lot of experience with these guys and had nothing but good advice, prompt help, all with a smile. A genuine smile, the smile of someone that likes helping people and getting the right help too. Unlike the plastic, ‘I have to smile because if I don’t I’ll get a black mark and end up out of work’ smile that’s as heart felt as a dogs growl.

My experience lately has been poor at best. Where everyone seems to be pleasant enough no one seems to be able to do their job effectively. Been working on my yearly review with them for a month and a half they messed up and didn't get everything signed after I repeatedly ask if they needed anything else including signatures, copies of anything, or proof of anything. Now my case has been being processed in the final stages for over a week and we did not receive anything this month. I have communicated continuously with them and all they have to say is it's in the final stages of being processed and they can't expedite it.

They use to be very friendly and courteous.

Act like it's there money/food stamps!
Little hungar never hurt nobody....
I know what they need a New Facility
so they can do there job more efficiently.
Maybe a raise in pay like 29.00 an hour!!!

Fast service and the staff seems to care about the people they are serving. But there is no baby changing table in the bathroom even tho there are lots of parents with babies as families are the ones who usually need the most help. But overall great place if you need help and great staff.

Fast service and the people here are kind and seem to care a great deal about the community members they serve. There are clean unisex bathrooms here as well as water fountains. There are even vending machines that offer water, Rockstars and snacks. The vending machines take credit and debit cards. Only downfalls are they are quite a walk from the bus stop where one gets dropped off to access the office, making it difficult for those that find it hard to get around! They also don't offer EBT card replacement at the office. You must go about a mile up.

Neither of the bathrooms have a baby changing station despite the fact that the majority of the people they serve are families with small children.

Bring a book or activity if you have business, you will be there a while.
