I went to Synergy Prep for the SHSAT, and I cat say that it is in fact an amazing tutoring service. It’s effective, and it’s actually fun. It teaches many helpful math techniques/concepts as well as some ELA concepts. The instructors here are also helpful, and overall just really cool. I would recommend this to people who are actively looking for effective tutoring.

My overall experience at Synergy Prep for SHSAT was excellent. The moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and supportive environment. The other students were supportive and collaborative, creating a positive atmosphere where we could all thrive. The instructors in Synergy Prep go above and beyond; they’re not just teachers, but mentors who genuinely care about every individual student’s success. They make it a priority to identify both our strengths and areas for improvement, adapting their approach to maximize our potential. This made a huge difference in my SHSAT prep experience.

Additionally, Synergy Prep’s curriculum is rigorous and designed to prepare students beyond what’s required, which left me feeling more than ready for the actual SHSAT exam. In fact, the practice tests and drills were so difficult that when it came time to take the real test, it felt surprisingly easy. They also provide a variety of textbooks and study materials, ensuring that every student has access to the resources needed to succeed

What really stood out was how Synergy helped me improve significantly in both ELA and math. The lessons, combined with extra practice and feedback, significantly boosted my skills in both areas, making me feel significantly more confident and prepared. Truly without Synergy prep, I would've severely flunk the SHSAT.

I really enjoyed Synergy Prep. I’ve been in synergy for two years: Pre-SHSAT and SHSAT. Synergy really helped me expand my knowledge. Even if you slack off a bit, you’ll still definitely learn something by the end of your program. Out of all tutoring centers, synergy is the best one out there. Nabil, the Co-Founder, is really kind and will help you to the best of his abilities. The instructors are young, which I personally prefer. The instructors are also kind as long as you do your work, otherwise they can be a bit strict, which isn’t really a bad thing. Despite going to synergy for tutoring, I also made a few friends who I’m very happy with. Although the workload was a lot, I’ll miss synergy and I’m really grateful that I went there. Overall, I really recommend Synergy Prep! And if I were able to, I’d rate it more than 5 stars.
