Our daughter (3rd grade) was diagnosed with dyslexia early this year, she was struggling in second grade and was having a hard time participating (focusing) in class and reading. Christina has been absolutely wonderful in helping get the right tools she will need in the classroom, (with her assessments our daughter teacher was able to accommodate her needs). We have seeing a great improvement in our daughter reading and participation in class, she likes to read at home more and her grades have improved. Our family could not say enough wonderful things about Christina and the life-changing work she does at Jacob’s Hope Reading Clinic. I’m not just being dramatic here. Our son was diagnosed with dyslexia in ‘22 and he started tutoring with Christina twice a week. He had been struggling with basic letter sounds and retention for so long, the progress we saw in such a short time was truly amazing. Any sacrifices we have made as a family to continue our twice a week schedule for the past year and a half have been worth it. I would recommend Jacob's Hope Reading Clinic to anyone whos child is struggling in school. My son was struggling in reading and had been tested with no answers prior to Christina testing him. She was able to see where he was struggling and has accomplished more with my son in the last 7 months than the previous 4 years with other types of tutoring. 5 years wee were so happy to find Christine at Jacob's Hope. While our Grandson's school addresses reading issues, they don't clearly understand the need for children with dyslexia and reading issues.
Christine guided our grandson through the program with compassion, support and alot of encouragement. His grades improved greatly and owns his dexlexia with self respect.
He recently graduated the program and misses there time together, however, he knows she'll always be there for him if he needs any additional support.
We highly recommend Jacob's Hope and are confident if you decide to have your child attend the program you will be giving them a strong foundation for reading.
