I’ve been here for almost a week now. I love coming here! There are many machines and options of what to do! I enjoyed the sauna as well! Very nice and clean locker rooms! Def recommend!

This is an awesome place ! It’s very clean and well maintained. The staff’s are great. Ms. Aubrey gave as an outstanding service during our visit here. We came from Los Angeles and had good time here on the way to Redwood National Park. Here the inside facilities are great.
A big salute to the whole YMCA Shasta Family!!!

This place would be 100xs better if these young teenagers had to be accompanied by adults at the gym. They play with equipment, travel in groups hogging equipment for long periods of time, are loud, and run all over the place. I’ve tried complaining to front desk multiple times after being continuously hit by a ball, and for yelling and they do nothing. Sad excuse for a gym more like a daycare.

Harassed more than once from staff saying I had to show identification in order to use the equipment. All while I was running on the treadmill. This was not my first time at this gym and I used my barcode to scan in to the gym, not sure why this wouldn’t suffice. If there was any questions or concerns, they should have been done when I entered the gym, not when I’m halfway into my run. I’d like answers as to why this happened? Profiling?

Great family gym. The women in the daycare are amazing with my kiddos. They did some renovations including a new playground with a sun cover!

The pools are gross and cold. IDK if they changed pool companies or what but for the last 3 months the pools have been super gross, like hair, Band-Aids, bugs, huge scabs.... floating around. the Y-south pool is always COLD. It can be 112 outside and that pool is freezing. If I wanted to swim in the lake with god knows what floating in it and freeze my bum off I wouldn't pay to swim here. Save your money and swim in the LAKE it might be warmer and will be CLEANER.

The front desk girl with glasses is rude and condescending. Won't allow my 10 year old to play basketball unless I'm watching him the whole time which makes no sense when I'm there to workout and my son ALSO wants to have fun.
Do not go here.
and they Just upped my membership AGAIN for the 2nd time in the last month to $100/month

Great place to work out. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I went there everyday for about 5 months. But I would say the price of a single membership is moderate. I'm on the couple's plan and it costs me $80 per month.
