I want to be clear that my decision to leave is based on my negative experience with universal air academy , they engage in questionable practices, such as buying reviews, and I believe they are not a good investment for time or money.i got all my licenses left over in Venture north aviation in short time ,has provided me with quality training, and I’ve been able to achieve all of my licenses in a short time .

I had a disappointing experience with this flight rental service and would not recommend it for the following reasons:

1. The Piper aircraft (N5663V) appeared unsafe. While I didn't complete the pre-flight checklist, initial observations made me uncomfortable with its condition.
2. I was asked to complete paperwork once I was already in the plane, which resulted in the need for two separate trips instead of a single, continuous check-flight.
3. Some staff members were rude and unhelpful.
4. There was a lack of consistency in the information provided. Different employees offered conflicting advice, causing confusion and eroding trust in the service. This resulted in a significant loss of time.

I hope this feedback serves to improve their service for future customers.

This place was super rude. I wanted to learn how to fly and visited to ask questions. There was this Japanese guy says he is pretty much an owner (I think he is just an employee) of this place, and told me that your people cannot afford my school. I will take my business elsewhere

I definitely do not recommend this school...Because before I started school, I saw that the friendly and helpful people have changed and are rude. The law has changed in my country and they do not accept international flight schools and I asked for a refund but they refused in a very rude way. Everything is good at the beginning, but when there is a problem, you see the real face of the administrators in this school, a cheap and simple school, I will complain you everywhere…

Had a great time. Flew a Cessna 172 and my instructor Ted was super informative and great at making this first time experience Awesome. I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn from the best. Affordable and professional. What more could you ask for. Thanks again Ted .

In mid Feb 2013, after researching all different flight schools in the east LA area I decided to get my initial CFI at the Universal Air Academy in Brackett airport. After 4 weeks, my training was completed and passed on my first attempt. My instructor Alex Reyes (with too many thousands of flying hours) was very knowledgeable and informative in giving advices during the training. I was amazed by his superior level of expertise and how someone like him could be so modest and supportive at the same time.

Also, I would like to mention that there was absolutely no hidden cost for my training. Everything was as quoted.

The school is located outside busy airspace and in a perfect location for flight training and if you’re looking for a flight school, I would definitely recommend this one.

Even though the airplanes are not the newest, this school has the most competitive prices in the Los Angeles area. This school teaches from 0 hours all the way to CFI. They own cessnas and pipers, even have a multiengine. A great variety of instructors from all walks of life. Would recommend to someone who wants to learn to fly or just simply would like to go for a scenic flight.
