My son has been attending this Kumon center, and we are very pleased with our experience. All the staff are attentive to my son, and the instructor Miss Sara is always quick to answer back my emails. The staff and Miss Sara are always busy when I drop off my son-but it’s expected because of all the students they need to attend to. I believe some of these negative reviews are because of unrealistic expectations. Miss Sara has a lot of students that attend her learning center so she has set dates and times to do parent/teacher conferences to ask questions and get updates. If you’re looking for a place to take your kids for reading/math you’ve found the right place.

I have been with Kumon for 10 years of my two children’s lives. Only those who experienced the Kumon War will know. As we go through the process, we all question whether we should continue with it. There is only one correct answer. The parents' thoughts were Kumon's thoughts. I believed it and followed it unconditionally. As a result, Kumon found the answer for our children. My son, who is a college student, now works there and makes money. I am confident that my experience here has given my daughter and son a great deal.

Kumon has been helping my child to be successful at school. Working on learning materials that are above her grade level helped her to feel confident and guided her to be an independent learner. Thanks to our wonderful instructor, my child has come a long way, and we will continue our Kumon journey. I highly recommend Kumon to those who would like to build strong foundations in learning and challenge themselves in both reading and math.

Kumon has had a great role in increasing the knowledge of both of our kids. They both attended the Kumon in FW and Miss Oh has been great. We have been with Kumon for a long time and it's highly recommended.

We had horrible experience with this owner we going have to think of options B. I am willing to travel the distance for another location that can treat my kid better.She is so rude in general. She doesn’t gives us feedback how your child doing each day. My child have misplaced his homework unorganized 1 single time and the owner email us next day say that our child is going be “push back one level “. I’m guessing this would buy more time for the business . We love the Kumon homework structure, it’s just this owner care about her business more than your child learning abilities.
Don’t recommend sending your child here at early age . She going to drain your bank account.Waste of time and money . Real honest review.

I am very impressed with Kumon.I enrolled my son beginning grade 5, he will be in grade 7 in Fall. I want to say we are very impressed with the outcomes, so far.He has been excelling in Maths and is doing above his grade level. In reading we saw a lot of improvement we thought it wont happen.Thank you Ms Oh and the team for doing the best we want for our son. We highly recommend Kumon.Please try it for your children its worth it.

The staffs at Kumon of federal way have been an amazing crew!! We joined the program just about a month before COVID-19, so my 3 year old was still trying to get use to the program and it’s structure before the stay at home order went into effect. It was very hard for me to get her to do the work. I Texted Miss Sara many times that I really couldn’t do this at home with a 3 year old. She was not interested, she would cry. Then Sara started zooming with her 3 times a week, it was still a struggle. She would talk and be playful with her. She assured me that everything will be ok, I was not convinced at all, but day after day, week after week, I watched my 3 year old turn into a student who now dose most of her work independently with very minimum assistance from us. Sara is the most delegated, patient and professional teacher I know, it’s obvious that she is passionate about her work. My daughter only zoom with the teacher once a week now. The difference is Like night and day. She’s reading and counting almost to 100 with few mistakes. Kumon is really a great learning program.

Our son utilized Kumon Federal Way for almost four years and it was a great decision to send him there. He learned comprehensive amount of math from algebra to beyond calculus by visiting Kumon center. The staff were consistently helpful throughout the years. The director Sara Oh is amazing. Glad to have her there. Will send my younger son there too if we remain living in Federal Way. Thank you Kumon and Ms Sara Oh.
