Just purchased a gift certificate here for the introductory flight. Very friendly and kind! We walked out to look at the planes and were invited to see the lesson planes and chat about a bunch of different planes, flying, and all sorts of things. It feels really nice when someone takes time to just have a conversation with you. Im really excited for the flight!

Just had 2 family introductory flights, the parents with flight instructor Kelly, and myself and a friend with flight instructor Camile. Can't say enough how awesome each flight experience was! My folks split it up one flying to Lincoln, pilot swap, and one returning to auburn - and they LOVED it. Their instructor was very safe, thorough, passionate about flying, and fun to learn with making it an epic experience. They even went back the same day to gather more info to study on how the plane works even. Speaking for myself, it was the best experience yet when I've had many lessons and instructors over the years with two other schools. Camile was top notch, professional, safe, easy to learn with, fun to relate to, and also a passionate instructor where her teaching experience shined. We took off, flew around Nevada City, had a pilot swap in Grass Valley, and saw some incredible and iconic views around the American River Canyon. For myself it was the perfect reintroduction to flying, and for my friend an unforgettable first time flying experience. I appreciated the intricate details on flight safety and operations. A memorable and remarkable aviation experience for my family is all we gotta say - looking forward to another flight soon! Auburn is the perfect location with great flying conditions and weather with nearby airports to visit and unbeatable topography providing a wide variety of flying opportunities for the most versatile experience. Sunshine Flyers awesome office staff and professional instructors can lead the way from the first timer to aviation hero and to even become an instructor yourself! Thanks again!

Had my introductory flight here, first time in a small plane. The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly, as were the rest of the people I spoke too in the office. Definitely planning on pursuing my license here. Mike made the license process very clear and was helpful with recommendations and giving me an accurate picture of what that process would look like and cost. Highly recommend sunshine flyers!

The moment I walked in I felt at home. I spoke to Brooklyn about flight lessons. She explained everything in detail phenomenally and even let me see the plane. I was so impressed I knew this was the only place for me. I did my intro with Dave and it was a great fit. I signed up for full lessons and will keep flying there.

Hands down, the BEST flight school in Auburn. Mike Duncan was my instructor. I came to Mike with a desire to fly and absolutely no experience. The man is unflappable (I know this from my own lessons). Always encouraging, patient and kind, he has loads of experience and knowledge to pass on to his students.

I was an eternal student pilot, with my own antique aircraft, and Mike and the Sunshine crew got me finished up and I now hold a private pilots license! Mike was a great instructor, super nice to work with, extremely knowledgable, kind and just fun to be with. The online scheduling system was good, and the office ladies were always helpful. Very happy I trained at Sunshine. I will be going back for more.
