Terry Leahy was wonderful with my son. She helped him prepare for the Earth Science regents, as he felt under-confident in his ability to study and pass on his own. She was flexible with scheduling, met him where he was in terms of knowledge, taught him content as well as strategies on how to approach/take the exam. She brought many of her own materials, including her rock collection, to help him prep for the practical exam. We were lucky to have her and would absolutely recommend her as a tutor!

From the care and detail that Diane and Dr Olsen have when matching my children to their tutors, to literally driving to my children’s school to get their work when the school didn’t email it. I can’t say enough about how much I love this entire team. I wish I had the option to have this entire staff teaching me when I was in school.

Shaun S is above and beyond as a tutor. My son is on the spectrum and a very difficult case. He takes time to warm up to anyone. At the first meeting my son jumped into his arms and hugged him. He was able to bond and reach my son where so many others have failed. Wonderful teacher, we love him like he is family.

Professor Anthony A is the real life mister wizard. He makes both of my sons love math and science. He takes time and care with each child. With him learning is fun and not a chore

Robin Maynard has been tutoring my daughter Jillian Biondo for a few months now. She has been wonderful in tutoring Jillian and making this experience very rewarding. My daughter suffered a concussion and was out of school for four months. An earlier tutoring situation with a different company did not work out and our school switched us to LI Tutoring Services. Thomas Reeve was assigned as my daughters Algebra tutor and Susan Hovestadt was assigned to teach her Living Environment. These tutors had the very difficult challenge of helping my daughter understand what she had missed, and get caught up so that she could be ready to go back to in person instruction in school - all within an unfairly short timeframe. We cannot thank Mr Reeve and Mrs Hovestadt enough. Both tutors met my daughter where she was at academically and worked very closely with her to build her knowledge and confidence in these subjects. Not only did they help my daughter achieve 90+ grades for the quarter but just as importantly they made this an anxiety-free experience for her. She enjoyed working with them and finally felt like she made progress post injury. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My son was enrolled in the SAT prep course during summer 2021, the director was very responsive and accommodating as far as making schedule changes, however the course itself did not result in improvement on my son's SAT score, in fact his score was 40 points lower than his previous score on the math section. Safe your money and stick to KHAN academy.
