As someone who has been here, first hand to recieve education, I want to bring up the interveiw. It was a hostile environment, the guy who interviewed me dispite the reason that I was there, it was nothing huge and I had never had this happen to me before, he intimidated me way before we got into his office. I left in tears, and from what I can observe this isn't the first time he has done this considering the reviews. This is a place for children to feel safe and get their education as they should have before, not feel scared from their own gardiuns. There was another teacher who taught science and math who wasn't at all understanding, and I hated going there, she had made me cry on one occasion, I had trouble with math but my hate for math after wards worsened and my idea of science wasn't strong. It is now, but because I found teachers who have much more of a support system. However, I do appreciate the social studies teacher (Mrs. Snyder)
, (some ups and downs) and one of the counselors, they both have made my experience better. And made me a bit more lenient of coming there even if I was only there for one semester, they are truly both amazing. If your thinking of bringing your kid here, don't consider this place if your hoping for major emotional support and consideration. Because apparently to some of the staff all badly influenced children and ones who have been there as a result of being misunderstood are all warrented to be looked down upon and berated for some reason.

New Hope gave my son a chance to make up a credit he would have lost at the regular high school. He had migraines continuously for 2 1/2 months, but because the online program is more flexible than regular school, he was able to finish his Physical Science credit before the semester ended. If you are thinking that online school is easier than regular high school, you need to rethink that idea, because there were a lot of essays in the Grade 12 English course--more than I would expect from regular high school. The staff did a great job. They were very encouraging all semester long!

The problem I have with this school. You can not get in contact with anyone. When you call no one answer the phone. When you email teachers, counselor etc they don’t respond, but they are quick to send you an email if your child is absent don’t have their camera open. Parents should be able to speak to someone concerning their child. So happy this is my child last year here. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone.

My child has attended since 9th grade and is graduating this year! The teachers here are amazing, caring, and compassionate. I know the online platform can be challenging to students, parents and teachers, but NHEC handled it well.
I'm very thankful for the educators, advisors, counselors and staff. My child has had a great experience here and looks forward to continuing education for selected career path with the guidance from PVA.

We recently moved from Wisconsin and Pauling high sent us there to enroll our son. My wife and son just left this school and both literally came home crying after the “interview”.. Our son is special needs and The staff was aware that he was special needs. My wife said that the guy interviewing them was trying to intimidate her and my son and after hearing his story told them I don’t want to hear sorrow stories! Then told them this will not work for you have a good day. I’ve called several times to speak with someone at this school to no avail.. I am seeking further actions regarding this matter! You don’t do this to anyone let alone a special needs student!!

Reading the reviews are shocking but at new hope learning academy for me personally (a high schooler) the teachers are really sweet and helpful. They all have there sets of rules like any class at in person school it’s all about following them.

New Hope Education you guys are the most rudest and unhelpful workers I have ever heard about! These students work hard and for y’all to be rude to them is disrespectful! Y’all have poor communication skills and don’t reply back to students that need your help. Get it together stop discouraging these kids and help them learn. Only thing y’all really care about is a flipping pay check when there are students who are seeking help if they do not have any outside resources. I am very disappointed and I hope you guys get it together because this is very unacceptable.
