Sylvan learning has been a great ally for our daughter. She was struggling with math and they have really made a difference. She has improved immensely. I can see her gaining confidence and not stressing as much. They have been great! Always accommodating the times we have had to reschedule and they are open to conversations if you have doughts or concerns. I can't thank them enough for the help they keep providing to our family.

I have used this Sylvan location twice to help my two sons improve their SAT/ACT scores (2015 and 2018). Neither one of them needed a ton of tutoring (having done fairly well on the exams), but they required that "extra" push to make it to the higher level. For each of my sons, I purchased three one hour private sessions to help them (primarily) with the English/Writing sections of the exams. Both of my sons improved their scores to the levels, for which they were reaching. The staff at Sylvan were very accommodating and encouraging and reassuring. Both of my sons felt that the tutoring they received help them to do better on their exams. They were not belittled or rushed. They were taught" tricks" to help them answer those questions, which they found particularly difficult. They also took advantage of the free test sessions for the SAT/ACT provided at Sylvan. That opportunity absolutely helped them to become more confident and familiar with the tests because the test-taking conditions were the same as when they took the tests "for real." We were provided with their results within a day and had access to an online program to assist them with understanding why they answered some questions incorrectly. Overall, I absolutely recommend this Sylvan location for assistance with helping your child improve his/her scores on the college entrance exams.

He loves also that since we get there a few minutes early, they let him in to play with some stuff and books before his lesson starts. I can’t be more satisfied. My son started at Sylvan after falling a little behind in reading during the pandemic. We've only been there for a few weeks and we've already seen an improvement. He says he likes it there because he understands them well and he likes the incentives. "It's like and arcade because you win tokens. I figure out my homework and I get token points just like when I figure out a game I get tokens."

My son and my niece attended two courses in July 2015 - on Robotics [Build-a-Bot] and Coding [Game Design] - and has thoroughly enjoyed both. Like most ten year olds, my son loves playing computer games, and was very keen to learn what it takes to develop them. Both kids learned many core concepts behind game design, and I can see my son getting even more adventurous with Minecraft's creating mode, but with the whole new level of understanding. Like most kids his age my son also loves building things - always has had - and connecting the building with associated programming provided him with some excellent skills, bridging physical to digital. It was clear that the kids kept thinking through their designs even when away from the class - and in seemingly random moments a bulb would go off in one head or the other "this is what I need to change!" or "This is how I am going to do it!". I think that this 'stickiness' is one of the most valuable features of the course and should enable continuous learning. Both my son and my niece were looking forward to each class.

One other thing worth pointing out - I was overseas while my the kids were taking the courses, so it was down to occasional FaceTime. Yet Sylvan did an excellent job keeping the parents informed with kids' day to day progress. We received daily emails, one per each course, describing what kids were learning, complete with photographs. We could also access and test kids' game designs online. Great stuff!.

The accomodations provided whenever something came up. There was never a fuss from the person in charge. Calls were returned promptly. The individual attention given to each child during the sessions is commendable. My daughter absolutely love Sylvan.
