I moved to this town, not too long ago and with a huge heart for Art I found this beautiful little gem on new Milford Green. I couldn’t help myself but to volunteer some work and I’ve loved it ever since! I even got involved with some dancing work for the trunk or treat. So cool ! I was able to learn some new crafts skills at the studio and I just highly recommend For anybody that loves art or wants to learn a new art skill !

Very welcoming art studio and pottery shop.

I had an amazing experience at Village Center for the Arts. Last night my husband and I took a hand building class with Sharon and Dianne. It was the perfect night out where we got to create our very own mug, from rolling the clay to designing and putting every piece together. Sharon was so much fun to learn from and the class was perfectly instructed. I highly recommend Village Center of the Arts to anyone who wants to learn drawing, pottery, jewelry and art in general. The atmosphere is incredible and the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable to everyone who wants to be part of it. I love how involved they are with the community and how they guide everyone who enters to express themselves. I will be back with my whole family because this has become one of my favorite places to visit. I certainly can't wait to see my finished product. Now let's talk about the talent and decor -The moment you enter the studio you breathe art from any point you look. My favorite is the residual wall that has been built over the years and plays a fundamental part within the essence of the studio. Wow, the time it has taken to build it, along with the collective effort makes it a great piece of work. I invite you to come and visit Village Centers for the Arts where you will fall in love with every aspect of it. I loved being able to see other students at a previous class work on their projects with Betty Ann.

I'm so happy I had the chance to take a clay hand-building class for seniors this fall -- it was a great experience, I learned a lot, and the folks at the center are really nice.
Hoping I am able to take another class there next year. And in the meantime, it's great to know I can pay a fee to have access to the studio for glazing and firing if I build any items at home.

My 5+ year old granddaughter, Delaney, asks every week to visit The Village Art Center in New Milford, CT.

Jason, a staff member, inspires, instructs and insists that kids create whatever they are ready to create. I am so grateful for Jason and The Village Art Center... Delaney's home away from home.

This is an amazing place with amazing people who do amazing things. Everyone is so kind and friendly and supportive no matter where you are at in your artistic journey. VCA changed my life. I was struggling with depression and panic attacks. I had no confidence in myself and never thought I could feel like I was part of the community. I took a chance and went to VCA to ask about private wheel lessons, and was immediately welcomed like an old friend. Now I volunteer with children’s classes, and I consider myself an artist. I am at the studio doing something that makes me happy with a wonderful community that also makes me happy. Thank you, VCA!
