Maybe YouCanFlyPPG, but YouShouldFlyPPG somewhere else. My wife and I both regrettably trained through David. While flying continues to be a valued hobby of ours, dealing with David is about as enjoyable as getting teeth extracted with pliers. During the training itself, David is about as supportive as wet cardboard, picking at any mistakes you might make in a non-constructive way and making a mockery of former students by name to share the love.

If anything does go wrong once you get to the flying, you better believe David absolves himself of any responsibility. See the attached picture from my wife's class where a student flew into a tree on his FIRST flight. The individual was fortunately mostly unharmed, but understandably left training, and will hopefully continue someday under better instruction. David's first reactions were not concern for the student's health and safety, but ensuring pictures and videos weren't shared or spread. According to David, it was entirely the student's fault for not listening to instruction well enough.

After the class concludes, you better be willing to buy all the new gear you need through David and his small selection of manufacturers, or he will act like you robbed him. I bought my first paraglider from David, but bought my motor elsewhere. David threw a fit and hassled my wife over it during her training. This is not an isolated incident and David is well known for feeling entitled to any student's gear sales from the moment you sign up for training all the way till kingdom come.

The sport is wonderful and amazing in so many ways, don't ruin it by training with this clown. There aren't many other instructors around New England, but do your diligence and find anyone else, even if you have to travel. You'll be glad you did. In the meantime, we are starting a GoFundMe to get David some customer service lessons.

You Can Fly PPG is the best place to learn paramotor in New England. Thanks to David and Emily I accomplished my dream of not only learning to fly a paramotor, but also the ability to fly wherever I want, and flying over all the places I could have only dreamed of previously. Thank you for making my dreams come true, I love you guys, hope to meet up again soon!

Awesome training, and Dave and Emily were incredibly supportive in terms of getting a below knee amputee (me) in the air, and also being flexible in terms of how ground school was performed.

They are also instrumental in building community around this sport and always love to see old students return for a flight while training goes on.

For my training last year, weather was a challenge (it rained a LOT). This meant that getting to PPG2 took extra calendar time and I never felt pressured by Dave and Emily,

Great people, great training, and great ambassadors of the sport

Having gone to school for aviation and taken multiple courses for other air sports I can say that Dave has set up a really good school. He has a wealth of knowledge and is supportive even after the course ends. Great education in the New England area for those of you who want in depth training for Paramotor flight.

Flew helicopters. David a d Emilys instruction and professionalism is spot on. No better instructors I would rather have. I 100% recommend learning from David and Emily. Very professional, smart and devoted people looking for the same qualities in their students. Be ready to fully commit, flying is serious and they are the best. I highly recommend learning from them.

You can ppg Is a great place to learn, I had an unrelated injury, so I had to take a break for a while. Hope to be back up and going in the spring, but so happy to have trained with them they push that you mastered the essentials which can feel overwhelming, but is crucially important to being a safe pilot. I’m glad that they show this restraint. It would be easy for them to put you in the air early, like some other places do and I’m sure that that would make people happy but it’s not what builds a good pilot and keeps you safe. Hope to see Dave and Emily and everybody out soon!
