We love Master Gunsoo & the staff. Our favorite phrase from taekwondo is Be a buddy not a bully. They have welcomed us & the kids as if we were family. Both of my kids attend class my 10year old son and my 4 1/2 daughter also. My 10 year old son was being bullied at school and his self steam was very low and had no confidence on himself.Didn’t know how to defend himself in a safe way and how to speak up loud to be heard to leave him alone. We have been here since middle of March and we have seen a huge improvement on my son with self steam, confidence, helpful at home with chores and also reading more. Master Gusoo goes above and beyond for all the kids in class. He makes their class fun . He teaches them love, confidence, respect, values and letting them know reading is important and doing good is also important and at home also. My kids love coming here. He is also amazing with kids with special needs. He gives them same attention and is very patient with them. I highly recommend his classes. We wished we had sign up a lot sooner. You should give him a try and you won’t be disappointed.

We recently joined and so far my son has enjoyed going to the class. I just wish they would explain the structure of the program a little when a student begins. We are pretty lost most of the time. The staff and master are very friendly and welcome. Overall good experience!

Master Gunsoo has been a mentor I didn’t think I needed. His training is second to none and he focuses his attention entirely on each person as if the class is just about you even though filled. Absolutely would recommend.

Had my first ever experience with taekwondo here with Doug and Master Gunsoo. I was very nervous but they were both encouraging and helped me to feel included and participate throughout everything in ways I was comfortable to do so. In one exercise I accidentally kicked Master Gunsoo's hand twice but he handled it well and showed me where to kick instead. Overall, coming in as an adult for the first time, he made it a very enjoyable comfortable experience and I had a lot of fun!! I recommend it to anyone interested to try!

Excellent. The skills and discipline learned here will take my kid to greater heights. Cannot say enough about Master Gunsoo’s technique and demeanor. The progressive training method is effective. The way Master G has earned the student’s respect in the most caring manner is pure magic.
