We’re very thankful for what the Kumon program has done for our son. It has given us a deeper understanding of his academic potential. We feel the individualized approach can make a difference to others which is why we would recommend Kumon to others. We appreciate the director and staff for their willingness to help our son further himself academically.

In the beginning, I wasn't a fan of the small amount of additional homework. However, after time, I soon realized that the program was greatly helping me and my little brother. When you sign up, the instructor Steve, will give the new student a placement test to base where they will start in the program.
Instructor:
The instructor (students call him
"Mr.Steve") that runs Kumon of Cheshire is kind, caring, patient, and will assist a student anytime. I am currently in the program on Level I, almost level J (algebra, geometry, and a little bit of pre-calculus). Any time I or other students are in need of assistance, he is always there to help with the math. He goes out of his way to thoroughly explain the work to the student assuring that they understand what they are doing before they leave.
I find the program to be
extremely useful every day. The extra work pays off big time and it has also gotten me and my little brother way ahead of other kids in our classes. My little brother is doing 6th almost 7th grade math and he's only in 4th grade.
Overall, the public school systems don't teach what they should in math, I greatly appreciate my parents making the right decision to sign us up.

My kids became more confident in school after starting Kumon. Their grades improved significantly. My daughter in middle school went from average to high honors in both math and reading. My son in elementary school is above his grade level and my little munchkin just started at age 4.

My children are learning soo much from Kumon program. In addition to academic skills, my elementary school aged children have taken ownership of their learning, build a study routine and learn to find and correct their own errors in their homework. They truly enjoy and look forward to their Kumon lessons!

Very nice center. They were able to work with my child’s abilities and made a good flexible program. It doesn’t go together with school program, but it helped in so many different ways. We only use math program. I can’t say anything about their reading/writing program.
