I highly recommend Park Tutoring! The tutors are exceptional. My student worked with Kurt for math and Mr. Elmore for APUSH, and both made a huge difference. Kurt is incredibly knowledgeable in math and explains complex concepts in a clear, easy-to-understand way. After just a couple of months, my student's math grade improved significantly, and she's performing much better on tests and quizzes.

Mr. Elmore was fantastic for APUSH as well. Before tutoring, my student struggled with tests and quizzes, but Mr. Elmore not only helped clarify difficult concepts but also guided her on what to focus on for studying. Her grades improved immediately after working with him.

We decided to use Park Tutoring after speaking to Director Sang Park, although we’re not locally based in California. Mr. Park was personable and spent well over an hour with me during our initial consultation to evaluate what my son needed to work on to improve his 1400+ paper SAT score, which he took as a sophomore last year.

Sang also gave us helpful tips on what the current college admissions landscape looked like and what we should expect when my son applies for college in a couple of years. After the evaluation, he assigned Misha to work with him for SAT Math & English. The tutor is experienced & knowledgeable, and is very pleasant to work with. He keeps his lessons effective & engaging, so my son has been able to stay laser focused. After the very first day, my son said, “Where did you find this tutor?! He’s good!”

It’s been over a month now and the English portion, which he previously struggled with, has improved vastly. We are hoping to achieve our target score of 1550+ when he takes the digital SAT within the next couple of weeks. Fortunately, during this short period of time, we’ve hit this ideal score with college board’s practice test #6, which I heard is the hardest one released so far.

We look forward to working with Park Tutoring in the near future with AP courses, and possibly college admissions when the time comes. I highly recommend them to other parents, whose child might need that extra assistance in any academic subject!
