I just wanted to let people know how wonderful KMS has been in helping my son grow the last 4 years. He started KMS in Kindergarten, and is starting 4th grade today. After this year he moves on to the middle school. Ever since Alex started school back in Kindergarten, the teachers and aides noticed that he was quiet and at first we figured he was just shy since he'd never been away from home. Not sending him to preschool is a mistake that I'll never forgive myself for. As the school years passed, Alex was very happy to stay on the sides away from the other kids. His social skills are lacking, he didn't want to make alot of friends. The few kids and people that he does let into his circle, realize very quickly what a sweet, gentle, and loving boy he is. Alex has had great teachers EVERY year, everyone of them has made Alex come out of shell more and more. Alex was finally diagnosed with Asperges Syndrome this summer, after going to the doctor every week for tests. I've got to thank KMS for that too, since I thought he was just shy. KMS recommended bringing him, and by following their advice I can help my son at home too. I can NEVER thank KMS, and all of his teachers enough for all the great work they've done with him. While I believe that Alex has grown so much because of the teachers, principals, aides, etc,etc,etc.... I have to thank Mrs. Tomasso, the aide that has worked with Alex 1 on 1 since 1st grade. During the school year I think she spends more "awake" time with Alex than I do -lol. I'd also like to thank Mrs. Felice, Alex's special education teacher who's also been with him since Kindergarten. Both of these women have always kept me up to date on everything that Alex does, and they also answer all of my questions. Believe me, I've got a LOT of questions -lol. Sorry about the length of this review, I'm pretty sure it can be called a short story instead of a review now!! I just wanted to let other parents know how GREAT KMS is. Thank you again to all of KMS staff, faculty, and the principal.
