When I first learned about The Readiness Collective, I was confused as to just what their product was. As Jesse explained it, this is a blank canvas that he and the TRC Team are providing as a resource for people to teach and learn about sustainability, self-growth and preparedness. Not the "Preppers" of TV, but the commonsense people who want to know a little more and have a better skill set in the event of an emergency or other challenge to our day-to-day life. (Pandemic living comes to mind!)

Jesse, Sefra, Danial and folks at The Readiness Collective have brought forward a unique opportunity for people from all walks of life to learn, gain experience and skills relative to a long list of subjects designed to better prepare people to deal with challenges that may be presented through natural and man-made circumstances.

Jesse brings, literally a world of experience, having spent years traveling to provide humanitarian aid to countries hit by natural disasters or challenged with scarce natural resources. His enthusiasm and willingness to listen and provide insight is educational and inspiring. Sefra is passionate about horticulture, carpology, seed sustainability and other cool plant things. Her outgoing personality and zeal when speaking about plants and seeds made me want to learn about plants and seeds!

This past weekend TRC hosted North American Rescue's Civilian Medical Course. This program was exceptional! The NAR Instructors were combat tested and subject matter experts who shared their experience and skills with the students and then put them to the test with scenarios. Everyone on the class walked away with new skills and confidence in how they would react during emergencies. The training was truly "first class". I am guessing this is the first time this type of training has been presented in a store at a working mall! Very cool!

I am looking forward to other opportunities and will be checking their training schedule often.

Jesse and his team did a fantastic job at hosting the NAR medical training course. As a recently discharged member of the armed forces I am glad to have a knowledgable community at The Readiness Collective to continue honing in on my skills in the medical field, wilderness survival, and more. I value the training given by NAR and feel significantly more confident in my approach to treating potential casualties in real world scenarios. I feel it is important that we as individuals take the initiative to train now so that if the time comes, we don’t look back and wish we would have. Looking forward to the next session.

Cheers

The readiness team will appeal to anyone who appreciates learning new things and wants to become more capable in their ability to take care of themselves, their family and their community. Aside from attending workshops and just hanging out in the clubhouse, we also had our daughters birthday party at TRC where 12 kids learned tracking skills, made their own crafts, interacted with live animals and much more. Everything was extremely organized and ran super smoothly. There are tons of ways to get involved in community and this is a refreshing take on what it means to be capable and have the ability to take on any adventures that life brings on! -RP
