I look forward to Heads Up Hartford every year! It's hard to find a camp for high schoolers that empowers youth and gives them real leadership training-- HUH fits the bill. The community service that campers accomplish throughout the week gives them a beautiful start to a lifetime of volunteering and doing good for their communities. Campers are friendly and accepting-- this is a great camp for any high schooler who wants to make new friends in a supportive and nurturing environment. Counselors and staff are caring, responsible, and fun!

I went to HUH! for seven consecutive years; 4 years as a camper and 3 years as a counselor. I have met hundreds of campers, worked with countless community leaders, and made some of the most wonderful and long lasting connections at HUH! My time there really helped me grow, from enjoying the serene and humble environment of Saint Thomas Seminary to the grueling hot days working the community sites during the week. HUH! has shown me when you mix faith, friendship, community, and leadership anything is possible.

Heads Up! Hartford is an amazing camp experience for adolescents who are looking to have a positive impact in the community and grow as leaders. I attended this camp as a teen and went on to become a counselor and staff member, and the experience has been pivotal throughout my life.

Heads Up Hartford is an example of what's right and good in our world and especially in our state. I've participated in decades of youth service and mission camps and HuH was by far the best! A week of fun, learning, sharing, helping and growing in faith and service to others--all led by the youth leaders themselves; it's just awesome to witness. I'd give HuH 10 stars if I could!
