when i was a little girl, i went to this program after school. i can't tell you how much this meant to me. i didn't have the best home life but after school i would always have a warm and safe place to go. i wish that all children could be a part of this kind of loving and caring program. they helped me with school work, food, and general compassion. i remember trips to the college across the street to go play in the pool or on the grounds. i remember the new york knicks coming and playing basketball with us. signing cards and giving us a great experience that will never be forgotten.
