Sylvan was the answer to the problem! My son had gotten behind and was struggling in 3rd grade. Sylvan was recommended by a school administrator when I was desperate for a solution. At Sylvan, my son grew confident and excelled where he had struggled! Dena and Michelle are the real deal, they love helping students succeed!

We love Sylvan of Lakeland! The teachers are professional, caring and my daughter loves them. She looks forward to going every week and never sees her time there as work or school. We looked for awhile to find the right place for my children to receive what I call a second education. Sometime your child needs a little more attention and more open curriculum that actually helps them learn the material the right way. This location in our very own city have helped so many families and helped our children become bright stars in school. I recommend this location to anyone needing that extra tap on the wheel or just really a second opinion on how your children are excelling. The people are extremely welcoming and understand what parents go through, on a daily basis. I urge you to give them a try you will not forget it. Proud parent of 2 👍🏻

When I was in elementary school, I struggled with reading. After years of being passed off by teachers, a new school forced my family to take action to get me back on track with reading. I became a successful adult because of Sylvan of Lakeland. Now, my oldest son is struggling with reading. After years of working with him and continued failure, I signed him up for Sylvan. He has been attending 4 hours per week for over a year now and there have been leaps in his reading abilities. He still struggles, but he is more confident in himself and his abilities. He is now willing to try instead of running away with fear. If your child is struggling, please look into this company. It is worth the money and your time!

My communication with the administration has been excellent, I couldn't be more impressed. My son is always able to tell me exactly what he studied that tutoring session. Which tells me he really is able to follow the teacher and understand what is being taught. Time will tell how well he's retaining the information, but I'm almost certain he will begin to show improvement in the next school year.

My daughter has been attending Sylvan since middle school for math. Her math skills increased and so did her confidence! Ms L is the best math tutor my daughter has ever had. Homework at home is so much easier ! Don’t waste your time with other tutors, Sylvan is the total package ! Helped my daughter and also assisted me with school communication.

I love this place! My son is not one to pick up any book and read. He now willingly grabs a book to read. His grades have improved greatly and he looks forward to each lesson. The instructors and directors are amazing and always willing to help! Thank you!

The initial assessment was terrible my child wasn’t at the level she needed to be.. but to say she was “slow” n maybe learning disability… I was floored 😳. To refinance for tutoring is absurd, this is not an actual school. The place is sooo loud, kids are in a tight room with several age groups, no structure n the noise level my gosh.. how? I feel they sale hope the prices are so unrealistic.
