Tutor Time of Shelton has been integral for our growing family since 2019. All of our children have attended daycare here. The entire team is amazing! The teachers are wonderful, attentive, nurturing and encourage learning while having fun. The administration and school leadership keep everything organized while ensuring parents are informed and involved. The facility is safe, welcoming and a great place for kids. We are so grateful to be part of the Tutor Time family!

My daughter started at Tutor Time when she was 4 months old. She is now 2 years old and gets so excited every morning to go see her teachers and friends. The staff is very caring and treat us like a family. We highly recommend!

As a first time mom I was super skeptical of sending my baby to daycare. I wanted nothing more than to be able to be with my baby 24/7 BUT corporate America. IYKYK. Plus the horror stories I was hearing from friends, family and online didn’t help. Thankfully, the Tutor Time Team was able to ease my nerves. The staff and teachers are very helpful, responsive and welcoming. They have fostered a warm and trusting relationship with myself and my baby. Nearly 5 months in and I can honestly say that I couldn’t imagine having a better team care for my baby and watch her grow. Thankful for all they do, always.

We have been part of the Tutor Time family for the past nine years. All three of our children attended Tutor Time starting when our oldest was only 9 months old, and our youngest just graduated from pre-k, ready to start kindergarten in the fall. The entire time teachers, management team and staff have been incredible. Our kids always felt safe, happy, and excited to go to school at Tutor Time. They were engaged in learning, encouraged to build friendships with peers, cared for and supported by their teachers, and pushed to learn new things every day. Tutor Time provides an excellent school readiness curriculum and, as a teacher myself, I can say that our kids undoubtedly arrived to the first day of kindergarten ready to succeed. I wholeheartedly give Tutor Time my highest recommendation.

Our oldest started at Tutor Time at 16 months old and graduated pre-k in 2023. Our experience with the teachers and administration was great! We always felt welcomed, comfortable and knew that all concerns (if any) were immediately addressed. Our infant twins have since become a part of the Tutor Time family and we couldn’t be happier. They are well fed, taken care of and given so much attention. It’s not ever easy leaving the care of your kids to someone else but the administration and staff do a great job helping to ease the transition every single day!

Highly recommend! My son was there from three months to graduating preK , positive experience all the way through. He learned so much and was always excited to go to school, he was so disappointed when he graduated and left (2024). Excellent teachers at all levels that helped with the unique challenges to each age and prepared him very well for kindergarten. Very nice outdoor play area divided by different ages, plus great classrooms and indoor play area - he keeps trying to convince us to build our own version at home. Weekly cost is a little on the high side - but with generous summer break policy (not needing to pay weekly to hold spot), it was well worth it over the course of the year. Plus worth it for knowing he was safe and learning lots. Classroom live video and daily updates were great.

Putting our son into the care of others wasn't easy. Luckily for us we found Tutor Time in Shelton. We placed my son in their care at three months old when my maternity leave ended, and we've been extremely happy with them for the last several years. He thrives there, learning something new every day. He comes home happy and is excited each morning to see his teachers and friends. The staff is lovely, professional and I feel so comfortable leaving my son there knowing he'll be well cared for. The school is clean and bright with lots of learning and fun around every corner. I highly recommend this center to any parent who wants the peace of mind knowing their child is receiving reliable care while their education is being enhanced and where their social skills will thrive. From the management team of Sarah and Alex to each Teacher, specifically Ms. Lori, Ms. Christine, Ms. Mikayla, Ms. Jane and so many other wonderful educators, I know my child is in excellent hands. They are extremely accommodating and responsive, and always ready to help, answer questions and lend a hand when needed. I wish there was more stars to give.

My son attended Tutor Time from March of 2022 - August 2023. Transition from home to daycare was stressful for mom and dad and the staff was wonderful. His teachers have been phenomenal and so patient with him. Special thanks to Mariah and Diamond who had him in toddlers, Amy in Twos and Alyssa and Rachel in EP. Our son needed Birth to 3 services and all of the teachers adopted the strategies needed to help our son grow and thrive.

They allowed us to flex our drop off time based on our family schedule and needs which was such a blessing with parents who travel for work. They were flexible with us about our continued enrollment after summer 2023 which gave us options as we planned for our son’s transition to Pre-k and allowed us to breath a little.

Sarah, your leadership and your leadership team are truly exceptional and I wish you, Alex and Liz continued success.
