I would highly recommend this program! The 3rd party testers are not a scam!!! I came in with zero experience and left with so much knowledge. Ryan, Shane, and James are very good instructors. I most definitely got my moneys worth, I passed and got my class B CDL license, even if I were to have failed, I learned so much that it still would have been worth it. I chose the 5 day program, Monday-Friday. Friday was my testing day. So with only 4 Days of training, I passed. Again, with no experience prior. Thats how well they teach you and that goes to show how much hands on experience you get with the program you pay for. If you are feeling cautious about this place in particular, DO NOT BE!! As Long as you come in ready to learn, are confident in your ability to learn, and you are listening to what they tell you, this is the best place to get your license!
Thank you again to Shane, Ryan, and James from Jordan!!!!

I would highly recommend Colorado CDL Testing. Shane was extremely knowledgeable. He was very stoic during the pre-trip inspection testing (rightfully so) but was also very personable and courteous. Once my testing was completed, he took the time to explain what I had missed and gave me some advice which I appreciated tremendously. Also, a word of advice, make sure that you listen carefully to all of the general instructions that the Tester gives you. Although this experience is stressful and overwhelming, Shane tried to make it as painless and comfortable as possible.

These guys are the best! I have no idea what the guys with the negative reviews are talking about. I tested on Tuesday without any formal training at all, and fail miserably. Steve took the time after I had failed to turn the failed test into a training session. He mentioned that he has a school that provides hands on training for all the classifications of CDL. I decided to try it out, and see if it helped. Within 5 minutes of the training I had already gotten my money's worth. I can say that, thanks to the training I received from Ryan, Shane, and Steve, I officially passed all three portions of the test today. Thanks again guys!

I went to Springs Trucking for a 4 day class back in February, which I do not recommend any one to do unless you have some knowledge of driving trucks your better off doing the full class. But I end up going to United States trucking school for the Full course due to me using VA. To all my military men and women trying to go to Springs trucking school you can use the pikes peak program which they do take. But out of my experience from both schools Springs Trucking is the best way to go by far. Thanks so much Shane and all the instructors there, they really do care about their students and will lead you in the right direction.

Despite the negative comments about this place, my experience was very good.

Be prepared, know what’s in the book, and what is expected of you and you will do well. I would recommend this place with no hesitation. They are fair, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

Was told to bring cash and in the exact amount. Was told I need to use different verbiage during pre-trip inspection. Then after he failed me, he recommended an $800 day course to help me pass. Would give a 0 if I could.

I would highly recommend this place. My tester was Shane and he did a great job explaining to me everything. He and two others instructors (Vince and Chris) did a great job preparing me for the test. Thank you ALL!!!

I don't know if I had a good experience or bad - really questioning the whole private sector, third party testing scenario. Had a conversation today with a man who answered at the phone number listed. I told him I did ranch work and my truck trailer combo was heavy enough to warrant my holding a Class A whether required under an FTK registration or not - I want to know I have done the leg work to be qualified. I briefly touched on the reviews of some of the truck driving schools as being dubbed "unfair" and "in it for the money"; failing folks because they didn't take 'their' courses; charging for numerous repeat tests of unschooled test-ees. The man I spoke with stated, "it is extremely difficult to pass the skills test without taking the school (inferring his or others) and then proceeded to tell me he strongly recommended I take his one on one pre-trip inspection tutorial (referred to as a "preview lesson") for $375 or $675 for both pre-trip inspection lesson and road skills lesson. The pre-trip tutoring would take about and hour and both would be from 8:30 till ~noon (3-1/2 HOURS FOR $675!). "He would show me everything I had to know". I explained that I had owned my equipment for two years but I don't think it mattered that I have experience in the saddle. I then confirmed the test fee was not included in those fees - they are not. Excuse me but I saw quoted on the website; $175, $275 and $375 for refresher courses. A Russian CDL Tester named Alex in North Denver did the same thing to me but at least he only wanted $70/hr not $192.86/hr.
*** WHY DO I GET THE FEELING I'm potentially paying to get a pass on a skills test by these 'private, 3rd parties'... the whole thing makes me feel like the system is broken.
