I don't have the words to explain how thankful my now husband and I are to have found Jennifer, Sam & the rest of the South Farms Team.

We are two busy entrepreneurs always on the road. We decided in late December of 2023 to plan a March 1, 2024 wedding! When we saw South Farms for the first time, we knew it was the place.

Call us crazy for planning a wedding in less than 3 months but everything was more than perfect. I attribute much of our wedding day success to being surrounded by amazing people, especially the South Farms staff.

Every encounter with personnel leading up to our wedding further strengthened our feelings that we made the right choice. Jennifer was a godsend helping navigate dates and Sam, I don't have enough words to describe her as a coordinator. She makes everything so seamless. She handled every little thing I requested during the wedding. We laughed together, made jokes together, and was more than a pleasure to have around.

If you are contemplating hosting your wedding at South Farms, I wouldn't tell you to go anywhere else. Even in March, the setting can be picturesque and beautiful.

Thank you so much, South Farms staff. We can't wait to come back and visit <3!

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and wanted to write this review while everything was still fresh in our minds (albeit a bit blurry still!) because the team at South Farms was so amazing and we are so grateful to them. We live in NYC and planning a wedding while out of state seemed a little daunting, but the whole team here is so professional, responsive, friendly and welcoming that we felt comfortable we'd be able to plan from afar. We really wanted an outdoor element to our wedding while still having modern amenities and South Farms was the only place that checked all of our boxes with its beautiful fields, mix of indoor/outdoor spaces, interesting history and features, exposed beams, modern bathrooms, temperature control, and a charming indoor/rain option. The spaces all have great bones with a lot of room to make things personal and unique, and we felt the staff was really open to working with us to achieve our particular aesthetic. Jennifer was very accommodating in the beginning with scheduling our tour and answering our initial questions, and as we got closer to the wedding we met our venue coordinator Sam, who is amazing. She kept us on track, was super friendly (and patient with our thousand questions, details and project ideas) and we always felt confident that things were going to go smoothly on our day no matter the situation. We felt pretty organized and on top of everything as the day was getting closer, but so many small things come up that you can't predict and Sam was calm and on top of everything - we are so grateful to her and the rest of the team that worked on our wedding day. No matter how well you prepare, the day moves fast, and you need a vendor team you trust. Not only was all of South Farms dependable, but most of our vendors were from their preferred list, and everything was executed exactly how we imagined. Even working within their preferred list, we still had lots of choices to personalize everything from the caterer, to the lighting, to the decor. All of our guests complimented how beautiful and unique the space was, and how well executed all of our details were (which is thanks to the SF team). There is probably a lot more we can say about our experience here, but we highly recommend this venue, and are already wondering how we can host another party at South Farms someday.

What a beautiful spot located in Morris, Connecticut. South farms transports you back in time with its rolling farmland Thursday night socials and food truck offerings. This premier event location is just absolute perfection. This review pertains to the Thursday night social. We sat near the farmhouse and listened to wonderful music as kids played and people were able to patronize a wonderful selection of food trucks and a menu put on by South farms itself. From the Italian menu choices to barbecue and pizza and fusion food trucks, delicious cocktails and mocktails as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. I highly recommend you check out this spot. I can't say enough about it

We were married in October of 2023 and I still can't get over the beauty of this place! The rustic vibe and uniqueness makes for an unforgettable experience. Sam was a fantastic coordinator! She was very communicative, answered all questions in a timely manner, and took care of us on the day of! The large grassy area gave many options for photos and left room for ceremony changes outdoors (if puddles occurred due to rain) and it was nice knowing they have an indoor ceremony place just in case! We look forward to visiting the venue when they have socials again so we can reminisce the incredible day we had!

My organization is very fortunate to be able to have our events at this venue & it is just so beautiful. It doesn’t matter the weather, the season, they always do an amazing job making it gorgeous. So intimate & rustic! I want to have a large event just so I can have it at this venue. I wish that there was more parking & it was a little more leveled (not paved). The furniture is all mix matched, which makes the space look so unique. If you are wearing clothing that is thin or delicate, be careful choosing a chair, some of them do not have smooth wood & will pull at your clothes, I learned the hard way, my only complaint.

South Farms provides the ultimate rustic, barn wedding experience. The owner and staff are very accommodating and allowed us access to the entire property with the bride & groom, which allowed my assistant and I to take photos with the cows, a country road, and pastoral views. It is a stunning property! The bridal room and reception area have a very rustic charm, while the cocktail area is a little more modern, the perfect combination. As a wedding photographer I highly recommend this venue for your Litchfield County wedding. Great Food!!

I look forward to the South Farms Social every summer. It's a wonderful way to meet up with friends and make new ones, a safe space for kids to run and play, a chance to get fresh air, get off screens (let's be honest, me and my kiddo), support local food trucks (and not have to cook), hear live music and pick up some fresh veggies and bread for the weekend. This is a gift to the whole community. Thank you Ben and the whole South Farms team for opening your farm and hosting these events. Hope to see you all there this summer, June through September, Thursdays from 5-8 pm.
