Ms. Kayo has been so wonderful and patience, she is truly the best! She is hands on and understanding of each of the kids in her class and always strive for the best for them ! I love the zoom meeting to see how my daughter progresses both math and reading and I am not disappointed at all esp with her reading skill. My daughter loves her center, as Ms. Kayo and her teachers have always been encouraging, supportive, using rewards system and to see the smile on my daughter's face after the class is always a joy to see. Even though we don't live in LIC but Manhattan, the drive is worth it. I absolutely recommend Ms. Kayo's kumon center for both math and reading, it helps a long way.

My 7 year old was struggling in school with math and reading/writing. We decided to take her to Kayo over at Kumon on Jackson Ave. It was truly the best experience. She loved going and eventually we had her little sister join along with her. My daughters grades improved over the course of the year. We were so relieved. It was a positive experience. Kayo is delightful and kind. She is a wonderful teacher. I will most certainly return if needed in the future.

Mrs. Kayo is the best!!!!! My daughter has significantly improved in school in such a short time. Mrs. Kayo is patient with my daughter, and my daughter loves going to tutoring. I wished I met her earlier. Everyone, please start your kids with Kumon in at least Pre-K. Thank you, Mrs. Kayo, for everything.

Ms. Kayo is a great educator since she is proactive about letting me know when my daughters (seven and nine year old) are not doing something well and is attentive to their learning needs. She communicates with me regularly and her learning center is organized, clean, and welcoming. I am enjoying my experience with Kumon.

My kids have benefited by attending Kumon with Ms. Kayo for several years now. It helped our kids to focus better and listen to instructions.
They are more confident in their school work and helps them adapt to learning new material.
Especially during Covid, it’s great having live and virtual instruction with school schedules being inconsistent. If you are looking for a Kumon center to attend, we highly recommend the one in LIC because Ms. Kayo is very understanding and accommodating. I have heard other centers are not organized the same, so selecting the right Kumon center your kids attends will impact their experience. Definitely give it a try!

My 2nd grader started Kumon math at this location since kindergarten. My son gives credit to Kumon for his ability to solve math problems easily at school. When my son has difficulties with assignments, I reach out to the owner Kayo who is welcoming and patient with students. She has been very accommodating and adjusts lessons for my son's needs with his work pace. If you are willing to put the effort, I highly recommend Kumon math at this location.

We are very happy with our experience at this Kumon center. Kayo is a pleasure to work with. My son was struggling with math at school and we decided to use Kumon to get him the extra help he needed.
