I was hesitant due to the cost and frequency (only once per week) but it really does work! My oldest went from being on the low end of the class standings and receiving catapult support to one year later being invited into his schools honors program! Now, I have my youngest son scheduled for his entrance assessment this month. I have no worries about my second born making the same great progress this year.

My son started attending the Brandon Reading Clinic six months ago (recommendation from his school pepin academy), and it is the best reading therapy in the area, maybe in some states! We are from the Maryland-DC area and did Kumon and his reading did not progress at all. With the Brandon Reading Clinic, his therapist (Ms. Tammy) has helped progressed his grade level of reading from kindergarten to second grade!! While he is stil under grade level, we are looking for progression, not perfection and the Brandon Reading Clinic will get your child there! Please enroll your child if they are having reading challenges.

Three of my grandchildren have received reading therapy at the Brandon Reading Clinic over the last ten years. In each case, we have witnessed a growth in their reading confidence, and an increased enjoyment of reading. Their reading speed and accuracy improved every week. Miss Lisa was wonderful, and the kids all looked forward to their sessions with her. Everyone at the clinic was kind, caring and helpful. I highly recommend the Brandon Reading Clinic!

I'm really happy with BRC. My daughter loves going here and she is more confident. I can see progress. Their lessons are fun which makes learning fun. This is a great place, I feel they are helping me as it can be challenging to having to try to teach my daughter on my own. They are experts and I trust their approach in learning.

$7k a year tutoring I expect much more. Things started out great with Brandon Reading Clinic. They were full of promises and super accommodating. Then, COVID hit and we went to Zoom sessions. We thought this would be great because the actual reading center is very dark, crowded and not at all kid appealing. The person assigned to my child missed several Zoom sessions or was late showing up, had computer issues and so on. We also missed some due to circumstances like our home flooded, travel and a birthday. BRC promised us a once a year testing review to update us on our daughters progress. Keep in mind this testing review you have to pay additionally for yet it is counted as a normal session with the instructor. Testing was months ago and we are still waiting on the results. The person assigned to our daughter promised to make up her missed sessions during winter break. That never happened. Instead, we received a bill for all of those missed sessions and late fees!!! So, BRC will tell any parent what they want to hear to get them in the door and then not follow through, not provide updates, no testing results, and charge you for their no-shows! If a session is missed one of the rules is your child can make it up on a Saturday morning in a class with a bunch of other kids on different levels. BRC also refused to tutor our daughter until we paid them what they demanded and would not speak with us to resolve this horrible experience. I warn everyone to stay away from this place.
